And, by odd, I mean ... okay, odd.
All the other students had afros, and the school seemed to be having a disco dance party.
"Is there a school event I wasn't informed of?" said Miyuki.
"AAAAARGH WE'RE POSSESSED BY AFROS!" said Konata.
"Run away!" said Tsukasa.
Miyuki was soon running from classmates trying to infect her hair with the afro. She soon found a universal hair cure. She was about to use it when Kagami slapped it out of her hand.
"Why did you do that?" said Miyuki.
"ALL WILL BE AFROS!"
Kagami tried to make Miyuki one of them, but she dodged her classmate's efforts.
"No, not you too!" Miyuki saw that Misao and Ayano had afros too, as did the first-year students.
Miyuki finally got a hold of the hair cure and read the directions. She'd have to mix it with water. She began running to a bathroom, dodging various would-be recruiters into the Way of the Afro.
Finally, having given up trying to make Miyuki one of them, they sent out Disco Death Balls to try to kill her. She somehow managed to dogde all the disco beams until she made it to the bathroom.
There, she met her finally obstacle.
"Minami?" said Miyuki.
"No," said her opponent, "call me AFRONAMI!" Her declaration echoed across the school, and throughout Miyuki's soul.
Miyuki and Afronami fought an epic fight that lasted several minutes. [A/N: I suck at fight scenes, okay? Cut me a break]
Finally, Miyuki was about to pour water into the hair cure.
"Now," she said, holding up the rapidly-reacting substance, "light our darkest hour!"
[A/N: If this were a video, "You Got the Touch" would be playing right about now. Just try imagining that, please.]
Energy wafted out of the hair cure and all over the school, making all the afros turn about into regular hair.
Miyuki watched as Afronami changed back into Minami.
Soon, things were back to normal.
"Conglaturations, Miwiki!" said Konami. "You've prooved the justice of our culture!"
"Thanks," said Misao. "I hate having an afro, and thanks to you I don't."
And so the school ended the day on a positive, non-afro note.
THE END
