Tuck's Christening- A Grey's one-shot.

It was a sunny Friday morning and the sky was clear, something very rare for Seattle.

Miranda Bailey and her husband stood with their son Tuck outside the chapel.

Meredith and Derek were holding hands and standing with Burke and Cristina, who had little Jaearah in her buggy.

Denny was holding a now very pregnant Izzie Duquette. They stood next to George and Callie, Callie who wore a massive engagement ring on her finger.

Richard and Adele` were whispering close by the group, waiting patiently.

A rental car pulled up a little while later and Kevin and Addison stepped out. Callie screamed and ran over to them, gaining odd looks from the rest of the gang, not having seen each other in a while.

A Harley motor bike drove up minutes later and Mark hopped off, walking over to join the group.

Alex and Rebecca arrived late, Rebecca pushing her daughter Aimee in her stroller.

With everybody present, the group made their way inside the chapel for one year old Tuck's christening.

The baptism went along smoothly and after Tuck's godparents, George and Izzie, were official, the party proceeded to Izzie and Denny's, previously Mer, George and Izzie's, for afternoon tea.

Even though Izzie looked like she could pop any minute, she still went overboard with snacks, laying out sandwiches, party pies and sausage rolls, brownies and of course, muffins!

Who would have thought we would be here? Miranda thought that night, sitting in Izzie and Denny's living room and looking around at her colleges and most importantly, her friends.

I remember the first day I met all of them. It was so long ago. Now they all have their own families, their own lives. And I've been standing by watching them all grow, she thought with a smile.

The night ended with a bang. Izzie went into labor halfway through their little gathering. what a coincidence that the foremost neonatal surgeon in the country just happened to be in the same room. They rushed to SGH and Charlotte Louise Duquette was born, weighing in at a healthy 8.5 pounds.

So, of course, as all events usually do, everybody ended up at a crowded patient room at Seattle Grace Hospital.
