Short stories about the flock that are inspired by songs. Some will have the whole song in it, some will only have the title and others will be somewhere in-between. Cute and fluffy at first, but they might get more angst-y. Rating may change.

This is my first fan-fiction, so constructive critism is welcome.

#1 - "Umbrella" by Rihanna

"Wanna go for a walk?" he asked as he held out his hand.

"Um, no."

"Why not?" He kept his arm out.

"How about: it's pouring down rain?"

"Well, you can stand under my umbrella."

She took Fang's hand, smirking slightly.

"Umbrella ella ella?"

"Eh eh eh."

She giggled involuntarily as they almost skipped out into the falling rain. They walked down the road, pausing only to throw back their heads and laugh at something the other said. Both were getting soaked, as the umbrella lay forgotten on the kitchen table. But Max didn't mind, because she already had her umbrella.

And he was standing right next to her.

#2 - "Never Say Never" by The Fray

"3...2...1...Ready or not, here I come!" screamed Nudge.

They were playing hide-and-seek at Dr. Martinez's house. Iggy was hiding in the forest, but assumed everyone else was in the house because he couldn't hear anyone... or see them, as he was blind.

Everything was quiet, still as if the whole world was somehow playing hide-and-seek with them too.

The only thing he could hear was the sound of his own breathing. He began to feel as if reality was slowly slipping away as he often did when all was silent.

He felt so alone. 'What if this is all in my head?What if I've made it all up and none of the flock is real? This is crazy, but I guess never say never! How could I survive then, in a new place with no way of knowing where I was going? Is this all just some kind of nightmarish dream? Where - "

Suddenly he heard footsteps about 20 feet away. 'Oh God. What do I do now? Should I stay and hide, or run, or fight? Or is this just another halluci - "

"I found Iggy!" yelled Nudge. "I found y -" but she was cut off by Iggy catching her in a huge hug.

"You're real," he whispered.

"Well, yeah, of course I'm real," said Nudge. "I think you may have inhaled too many toxic fumes from all those bombs, Ig."

He chuckled and let her go.

"Now let's go find everyone else," Nudge said as she tugged on Iggy's hand, leading the way. "I can't believe I found you!"

"Yeah, I guess you did," he said with a secretive smile.

If only she knew how right she really was.
