A/N: I was just sitting on my computer, minding my own business, when all of a sudden this gigantic plot bunny ran up and bit me! Don't blame me, the plot bunny did it! The music lyrics I used are from 'Forgive Me' by Evanescence.

I heard the words come out

Yuki Eiri sighed as he watched the rain trickle down the window. Another day, another argument. It was the typical case scenario; he would be working on his computer and then Shuichi would come in and annoy him. Before Yuki knew what he was doing something stupid would come out of his mouth before he realised it.

Then you look at me
You're not shouting anymore
You're silently broken

Now Shuichi had ran out of the apartment into the rain, leaving Yuki to fume silently behind him. It wasn't as if he did it on purpose, it's just that he…Yuki paused to think of a reason why he yelled at Shuichi constantly, and used the brief break in his rampage to glare at the ashtray with the remains of his smouldering cigarette in it. He lit up another one, and then threw it down in disgust.

I'd give anything now
to kill those words for you

Each time I say something I regret I cry "I don't want to lose you."
But somehow I know that you will never leave me, yeah.

Grabbing his coat, Yuki stalked out down the stairs after Shuichi. He walked along the street, wondering where Shuichi could have gone. After a few minutes his exasperation got the better of him, and he stopped and sat down on a seat. He fumbled in his pocket and swore under his breath when he remembered he had left his cigarettes back in the apartment. The rain started to pour down more heavily now, thudding onto Yuki's shoulders and neck.

Rubbing his eyes Yuki got up to go back. As he turned the sound of a swing going up and down caught his attention. Focusing through the heavy sheet of rain he watched them swing. Walking over he tried to think of what he would say to Shuichi now that he had found him.

I can't live this life
Without you by my side
I need you to survive

He was relieved that Shuichi was okay, and also annoyed at the same time because of his stupidity at running out into the rain. But before he could say a single word Shuichi turned and looked at Yuki. Yuki noticed there were tears in his eyes, and so Yuki decided to get it over with. He took a deep breath.

"Mind if I sit with you?"

Shuichi made no reply, so Yuki sat down and turned to face him.

So stay with me
You look in my eyes and I'm screaming inside that I'm sorry

"Shuichi, I… I'm sorry. Please forgive me."

Shuichi made a small noise in the back of his throat, and more tears streamed down his face. Yuki leant forward and kissed him softly.

"Come back home now Shuichi, it's raining and you're soaking wet."

Starting to shiver Shuichi stood up and followed Yuki back home. When they got there Yuki pushed Shuichi in the direction of the shower and went to the kitchen to make some hot drinks.
