Hello

Hello! I just read chapter 405 of Naruto Manga. There are a whole lot of things that have happened. I am sorry to all those people who haven't read that far yet, but I cannot offer a summary of all that has happened in the story. For those that have not read as far as Jiraiya's fight with Pein and do not like spoilers please do not read any further. I do not want to be blamed for any spoilers so I am saying this now. I read chapter 405 and I have finally uncovered Tsunade's true feelings towards Jiraiya. This shall be a FanFic of their relationship. If you do not like spoilers do not read further. You have been warned, and if you cried like I did when I read the chapters then you might not want to read this.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Jiraiya. You can send me a love letter later." The boy giggled. He was only twelve years old but acted like a perverted old man. Needless to say, Tsunade punched him.

"Who the hell would send you a damn love letter!! Don't get fresh with me or I swear I'll tear your head off!!" The blonde had a temper, but that was what Jiraiya loved so much about her.

They were in a three-man cell consisting of the pervert Jiraiya, hot-tempered Tsunade, and quiet Orochimaru. Tsunade was a simple girl back then, she crushed on Orochimaru and hated Jiraiya.

But Jiraiya was persistent, day after day he would hound her, asking her out and trying to get a date with her. The attempts did nothing, but little by little, before any one of them noticed it, he had wormed his way into her affections. It was only when he was gone when she realized she loved the perverted man she had grown up with. And grown to love.

Now he was gone, and all that lingered was his smiling face. Tsunade stood in the hall, she had punched the wall in anger and frustration, calling his a dummy and every thinkable name under the sun. But words, nor her love could bring him back. He was dead and nothing would change that.

Tsunade continued to weep for her lost love. Why hadn't she stopped him from going? Why hadn't she said anything? If she had said 'yes' to even one of his futile attempts at asking her out would he still be alive today?

It was just like it was with Dan; he died and left her, never to return to her waiting arms. Now Jiraiya was leaving her too, it was too horrible. If she had only told him, if she had told him she loved him, would that have been enough to make him stay? Probably not, he would have still gone away, he never had any consideration for her feelings, that's what made him such a pervert.

Knowing all this, why did she still miss him? Why was she standing, alone, with tears streaming down her face?

You shouldn't cry, you know. Someone as beautiful as you should never have to cry. His voice seemed so clear in her head, so close, so comforting.

"Jiraiya! I'll join you!!" Tsunade brought a kunai knife to her throat.

Don't, Tsunade, please, for me? You must live on, for me. I love you, Tsunade…

Tsunade dropped the knife and fell to her knees. She wanted so much to see him once again, to hear another one of his lame pick-up lines. She kneeled there for a long time, sobbing.

Jiraiya gazed at the beautiful blonde from heaven. She cried as he watched her suffer. What he wouldn't give to stop the tears from falling from her beautiful eyes. But it was not to be, she loved Dan, and crushed on Orochimaru, he could never compare to those two. So Jiraiya watched her from a distance, watched her suffer and wished he could be there to comfort her.

The love that was never spoken, or returned, it was just there.

I know, I suck at writing this, I am sorry to all those who actually read this. I do not know what I was thinking, I just thought it was sad and wanted to do something to show how much Jiraiya loved Tsunade and vice versa.
