Toadette's stomach growled as she was enjoying a walk through the Mushroom Kingdom, stopping as she rubbed her rumbling gut.
"Oh my, am I hungry!" Toadette exclaimed as she looked around for something to eat. "I really should eat something... but what?"
Anything would suffice for the young mushroom girl to eat, but luckily she spotted a nice bush containing several berries. She went to grab the berries, eating them up.
"Delicious!" Toadette exclaimed as she gleefully stuffed her face with the berries, feeling much better as her gut was filled with berry goodness.
Eating made Toadette feel better, but the berries had some effect on her fungi body. Feeling it rumble a bit, Toadette placed her hands on her stomach as she moaned.
"This... feels a bit painful..." Toadette mumbled as she bent over a bit, reeling in from what the berries were doing to her. "I think I might..."
Toadette farted, then burped. Blushing as she looked around, the female mushroom retainer took in a sigh of relief, before her stomach let out one more grumble as she simultaneously let loose an equally loud burp and fart, causing her to begin inflating a bit, much to her shock.
"Ey, do you see what I see?" Petey Piranha stated to Dry Bowser as the two were having a quiet golf match.
"What, Toadette just being obnoxious as usual?" Dry Bowser scoffed as he smacked the golf ball into the air with his golf club, accidentally hitting a seagull, which caused several seagulls to attack the boney reptile.
"I don't know, it's just that... she had those berries, and she suddenly inflated." Petey murmured as he tilted his giant piranha plant head to the left. "...I don't know what to make of it. I'm gonna ask her what's up."
Dry Bowser couldn't respond, as the seagulls kept attacking him with no remorse. Petey shrugged at this as he headed towards Toadette, who seemed to have inflated by a couple inches.
