This is my first Hannibal poem/story. I hope you like it my pretties!
In the darkness I sit
In the darkness I sit
With nothing but memories
That haunts me even in the light
So it does not bother me
Where I am
Though I much prefer the dark
That hides me from the eyes
Of my captors and fellow inmates
The screaming I can take
The food is edible
The courtesy at a minimum
All I have other than theses comforts
Are these four walls
Three of cement
And one of steel bars
I think of you
You know
Of your eyes that hold more strength than many a man
Yet hold the weaknesses of a woman
Of your hair shining with the radiance of the forgotten sun
Yet is the darkest characteristic of you
Of your body that is full of warmth
Yet you look so cold to the touch
I enjoyed our talks
When you came to visit me
Even in the wee hours
As I never sleep
In the darkness I sit
With nothing but memories
That haunts me even in the light
