It's a small drabble that I felt like writing late at night. It's not anything good and it's probably full of mistakes but you're the judges, people!

Disclaimer: I do not own Glee. If I did, Jonathan Groff(Jesse St-James)would be a season regular.

Sam wasn't stupid. He just wasn't as smart as Quinn and that's why, sometimes, he had prefered to hang out with Finn and the boys.

Sam wasn't, by any means, naive. He had left Quinn after finding out she was cheating on him. He seriously couldn't understand why she would do that to him. After all, he had abs and he covered Bieber...and he had abs! So, when he started dating Santana, it was more to fool around than anything else. Sure, Santana was pretty hot, but he was more into blondes than brunettes.

If there was one thing you should know about Sam Evans, it was that he acted dumber than he really was. He acted dumb because he was scared no one would like him if he was simply himself. Quinn had proved him right on this particular topic more than one. She had even prayed for him to stop being so weird. It's not as if Santana had been any better. Her mantra- if it was considered one- had basically been 'Shut up and kiss me'. And it's not like being poor and speaking na'vy was considered cool nowaday anyways. Not that being poor was ever cool. Not knowing if you would have enough money to pay for the house or even for food was nerve racking. Acting dumb gave him some control: he chose to be dumb, therefore he could stop whenever he wanted.

He first got the idea from Brittany. Brittany was pretty(pretty dumb) and everybody liked her. She was the epitome of innocence- well, almost. She could smell her armpits all she wanted and people still thought she was adorable, funny, sweet or just plain confusing. Sam has never heard anybody saying they hated Brittany. Santana was her bestfriend...and Santana was well-known for hating everyone and everything(from flowers to rainbows passing by sunshines and buttleflies).

After a while, he started to think that maybe-just maybe- Brittany was also playing dumb, that she was faking it. Face it: someone couldn't be so stupid and get away with it. His newly found discovery led him to avoid Brittany. Because if one could fake being stupid what else could they do? After a while, he came to think that it was pretty hypocritical of him to be thinking such things considering he was faking too.

But it wasn't until Brittany came up to him to tell him that she had watched Avatar and had found those ' ginger kids waving magical sticks around', ' scarhead' and 'Voldy' very funny that he realised she wasn't faking.

Because no one could ever mix up Avatar and Harry Potter.

Pretty Random...I know...Pretty boring too.
