So I had a dream today and discussed it with my mom and she says that in dreams water refers to emotions. Who knew? So this is what became of that thought process.
Sasuke is fire, full of detachment and destruction.
Naruto is water, full of emotion and evenness.
Both cause their own manner of destruction; fire acts as a flame upon paper while water acts as a wave against sand.
Fire destroys quickly; never taking a second look at the path it's taken.
Water destroys slowly; always aware of and reminded of its mistakes.
Fire rages rapidly, leaving nothingness in its path and extinguishing in the blink of an eye.
Water lingers leisurely, leaving life behind and lasting years and years.
But Fire is always overcome by Water, why?
Because Water helps Fire realize its emotions, with its curving current and comforting calmness.
And it always feels better in the end.
