Tumbling Down
With a single nudge
Life comes tumbling down
And I sink to my knees
As it crumbles to the ground.
Why is this happening to me?
Why does this have to be?
But with a single nudge
Life comes tumbling down
To the ground.
The Other Side
Cry out in pain
As it pierces through.
Let blood flow in the rain.
I see your breath.
I see your crying eyes
As you stand and watch me die.
The warmth starts to leave my body
I'll still see you on the other side.
Drop of Blood
A single drop of blood
Seeps from my wound
Falls onto the mud
And starts to blend in.
So I give a little grin
Because no one seems to see
What's happening to me.
Start to Fade
An invisible force, grabs me from within.
As I fight, I feel its hold tighten.
I feel myself slipping away
And grab for those who said they would stay
Yet I'm alone.
My heart ceases to pound
As I start to lose my will to fight.
Light flashes as I start to drown.
Pulled deeper and deeper, I start to fade.
Not Yet Gone
I feel your pain, you hopelessness.
As you block all you know,
Your happiness never again will appear.
Hope is gone with a final blow.
My heart starts to fill with fear
As your end draws near.
I'm losing you, cause you can't escape from the darkness within.
And the light begins to dim.
Your smile will never grace.
You stand here with a stone cold face.
Yet as I look into your eyes
There's a flicker that will not die.
