Despised Characters
Write a drabble featuring a character/ship that you despise. This is NOT an opportunity for character/ship bashing. Instead it should be a serious attempt to portray the hated character(s) in a positive light.
He grins on the photos, waving a hand or winking smugly. He is successful – famous, glorious, loved.
His books are selling better and better, and he just agreed to start teaching young ladies and gentlemen how to follow in his footsteps. Not that they'd success the way he tells them, of course. The best way to rise is to keep in the shadows while the work is done, then grab the right occasion. But that's his secret.
What would ugly, bashful people do with fame anyway? It would only be embarrassing to show them around.
His sleep is peaceful.
