Despised Characters
Write a drabble featuring a character/ship that you despise. This is NOT an opportunity for character/ship bashing. Instead it should be a serious attempt to portray the hated character(s) in a positive light.
Brats.
They are stupid and young and annoying and they have it. Why not him?
He deserves more.
He cleans, all the time, it seems, while the magic that could relieve him so much is wasted in pranks and silliness. They dirty the corridors and their laughter echoes in his hollow chest.
No one is there to laugh it all away for him.
At night, he is too cold, or too hot; all he can do is change clothes. He calls Mrs Norris in a hoarse whisper. No one wanted her, either.
Dumbledore gave him that job, though.
Damn him.
