For Arts and Crafts (freeverse) on Camp Potter, using the mandatory promts: Maybe, maybe not, blue, and wind, along with the optional prompt: Was it always like this?

Word Count: 285

Thanks to Allie (dimitrisgirl18) and her friend for reading this over for me! Also, thank you to Paula (Exceeds Expectations) for letting me use her fic "fear is only a verb if you let it be, don't you dare let go of my hand" as inspiration for this. My first freeverse... Please leave a review and tell me what you think!

She's Dominique Weasley

With her (too) blue eyes and reddish blonde hair she doesn't look quite right for the part

But she flies around with a smile on her face, because she doesn't want to be like the rest of them

(Sometimes, though, while she's busy being different

she forgets that sometimes, it's good to be the same

so when she's only six-years-old she tries to run away

She almost lasts until lunchtime)

But she laughs when no one else does

And she always wears a smile

So no one really minds if she isn't like the rest

Because she's Dominique Wealsey, and didn't you know?

She's the sweetest little girl

(but she never stops running)

*l*l*

With her (too) blue eyes and reddish blonde hair

she blows through the world without another look back

She's a tornado

Tearing down her surroundings wherever she lands

With a predetermined path leaving mountains of rubble

(And no trace of a smile)

Because she's Dominique Weasley, and didn't you know?

She's the most dangerous one of them all

*l*l*

With her (too) blue eyes and reddish blonde hair

She flies around like the whirlwind she is

Never staying in one place too long

(She's can't stand being tied down;

and hasn't it always been like this?)

So she goes from Scotland to London to Paris and Dublin

And she finally feels free

Free to be different, to see different things, and for the first time in her life

This is where she wants to be.

So when her daddy asks

"Dom, aren't you ever coming home?" she tells him,

"Maybe. Maybe not."

(Probably not.)

Because she's Dominique Weasley, and didn't you know?

She can never stay tied to one place.
