Katniss's mom & President Snow - Katniss' mom POV
I loved my children's father, but it was time to move on. Katniss was put in the Hunger Games, made it to the top eight, which meant interviews. We took a train down to the capitol. Taped the interiews, then got to meet President Snow. I don't know how i felt about him, I hated him, Despised him, but somehow I knew there was something behind his actions. Hurt, hatred, all of the past pushed inside. When he shook my hand something warm radiated through my body. It was something I hadn't felt for years, since my husband was alive. I knew something was starting I saw it in his eyes.
He called me in to his office. I was scared, that I did something wrong. But instead he asked me to dinner, a big dinner of anything I wanted. It was a deal I couldn'r refuse. We hit it off from the beginning, laughing, talking., gazing into each others eyes. Katniss won the games, brought Peeta with her. Snow wanted to kill her but I begged, for her safety. He finally agreed, but told me she would not totally be left alone. All I knew is she wasn't going to die.
Months went by, a new head peacekeeper came, which I already knew. It was so we could speak on his phone. So nobody found out. The war broke out and I was the capitols spy. I did it to keep everyone alive. But in the end I realized it was a mistake. Snow died, I was heart broken once again, but i couldn't show it. Nobody knew about our love. I had to stay away from everyone. That's why I never went back to district 12. It brought back to many memories of love, hardship, lonliness, and so many other emotions. I lived my life in another district, made new friends, and eventually became happy again..
