Chapter 1: An Accidental Discovery
"The snake has shed its skin, the hawk has taken flight. We are no longer the hebi(snake), we are now the taka(hawk). The taka has but one goal", Sasuke said as he slowly raised his head, staring into the ocean, tears streaming down his face as his new mangekyo sharingan slowly formed. "That goal...is to destroy Konoha".
2 Days Later -
"Wheres Karin"? Sasuke asked as he stood impatiently at the entrance of the Akatsuki hideout. "She is still getting ready, putting her perfume and makeup on herself", Kabuto replied as he used his left index finger to slightly raise his glasses. Seigetsu then walked next to Sasuke. "What doe's she think this is, a date"? He said."Wheres Jugo"? Sasuke said as he slowly moved his hair from his eyes. "He is over there sitting on a rock talking to the birds as usual", Seigetsu replied as he pointed towards him. "Hey sorry I'm late my precious Sasuke", Karin said as she walked towards the group. "Why is that freak here"? Karin asked as she pointed at Kabuto. "Hey C'mon that's not very nice", Kabuto said as he smickered. "He is here under my orders", said a deep voice as a mysterious figure wearing a black robe slowly started walking towards the entrance. "It's about time you got here….Madara Uchiha" Sasuke said as he started to lean his back against the wall. "Now explain why we are here".
Madara brought them all into the hideout and they all sat down as he started to explain. "As you all know the leaf village needs to pay for what they have done, and I have gotten my hands on a book which will help is find weapons that will become our greatest ally. This book will help us find the location of these powerful weapons, and how to obtain them. "Madara explained as he slowly pulled a book from his robe. "Where did you get your hands on that"? Jugo asked as he stared at the book. "An old acquaintance of mine has given it to me because he said even he could not obtain these weapons". Madara replied". Who was it"? Karin asked in curiosity. "Itachi Uchiha", Madara said. At that moment Sasuke's eyes opened in fear and despair. " Not even someone as powerful as him could pull it off, so to avenge his timely death we will succeed in obtaining these weapons and use them to destroy Konoha". Sasuke said.
Later that night Sasuke's curiosity got him wondering what were these weapons that Madara spoke of. Sasuke got out of his bed and walked out of his room to find Madara in the hallway leaned up against the wall reading the book. "Your still up"? Madara said as he closed the book with one hand. "I could not sleep, umm whats in that book anyways"? Sasuke asked as he stared at the book in Madara's hand. Madara put the book in Sasuke's hand and said "take a look for yourself".
After getting the book Sasuke closed his door and sat in his bed with a dimmed candle on the wall directly above him, giving him enough light to read the text. As Sasuke opened the book he started to read "There are many powerful weapons called the Zanpakuto's which belong to soul reapers in the soul society…" Sasuke stopped reading immediately and said to him self "Soul reapers"?
