Elliot's P.O.V:

We had just gone to bed or at least that's what it felt like when I hear the soft crying my daughter is making. My eyes are open but i just can't seem to get up. I feel my gorgeous wife stir beside me, but immediately i grab her wrist because I know she's about to get up.

"I got it baby don't worry"

I kiss her forehead and she gives me a sleepy smile and nods going back to sleep instantly. I get up from our warm bed and pad down Grace's nursery where her crying is turning into screams the closer i get. That's our daughter's name by the way. Grace. She's one month old and she already looks like me. She's got blonde-ish brown her,deep blue eyes, and tan skin. I reach her room and I see her little face all red and with tears running down her cheeks.

"Aw what's wrong baby girl? Hmm?. I got you baby, Daddy's got you"

As soon as I lift her out of her crib and I start to rock her her crying stops and soon it becomes just whimpers.

"Did you have a bad dream baby? Was that it?"

Of course she doesn't answer but she looks at me like if she was about to say "Yes Daddy that was it" I sit with her in the rocking in her room and I hold her close to my naked chest. I close my eyes for just a second and when I open them back up, Grace is completely asleep in my arms. I carry her back to her crib and lay her on her back. I kiss her tiny forehead.

"I love you so much Gracie, Daddy loves you so much"

I give her one final kiss and head back to my room. When I get back my wife is still sleeping on her side. I crawl behind her and wrap my arm around her waist. When I'm about to go to sleep, she surprises me by saying.

"Is she ok El?"

"Yea Liv she's fine. She just had a bad dream. I thought you were sleeping"

"I woke up a little when you left and I could hear you through the baby monitor"

"Mmmm Ok babe" I tighten my hold on her waist and kiss her neck.

"Let's sleep now Liv. I love you"

She yawns and says sleepily.

"I am baby. I love you too"

With that we went back to sleep peacefully with the soft breathing of our daughter through the baby monitor.
