"Close your eyes and dream" they would say, but I couldn't. Every time my eyes closed I would see the forbidden thing leading to the forbidden place. How I longed to go but if I gave into my desires problems would arise, many I could never resolve. I did what I had to do then I will do what I have to do now. Even though I wish I didn't.
I went there once when I was young. I saw lush beauty surrounding me, making me feel safe. Unaware I accidentally put my energy into the ground. That is when they came after me savagely for my magic. They were crazy, wild, evil spirits. In my haste I made an orb of my energy and with my last drop of energy I cast the spell that would only allow a woman of my kin with magic far grater then mine to enter. Until then my power will banish these monsters to a place where nothing grows but fear and hate.
Now all I can do is wait for her to come. The one on whom this burden will be put. The one who can defeat them, even if she doesn't know it yet. I fear for her.
