It had been a hard mission for Naruto, though Hinata thought he was ill, but he never really got ill. He slumped onto the sofa in the living room of the apartment he shared with Hinata. He had never really imagined, years ago, that he would be so, so in love with her. War changes people's opinions he guessed. Hinata walked into the room and her pale eyes widened at the sight of him.

"You're home!"
She rushed over and sat down by him giving him a quick peck on the cheek.

"How was the mission?"

"Tiring."

"But you never get tired normally."

He scratched the back of his neck.

"Eh, really I'd never noticed!"

He sheepishly laughed. Hinata could tell that he was probably getting sick for the first time ever, maybe something that Kuubi couldn't be bothered to deal with. She decided that she wanted him to feel better and slowly leant towards him. Naruto, being as naive as he was, even now, was shocked. He caught on and felt himself moving to kiss her back. Naruto's and Hinata's lips collided and Naruto felt Hinata's arms wrap around his neck. He ran his tongue across her bottom lip, stopping in places to nibble playfully. Eventually they had to pull away for air. Naruto lovingly stroked her cheek and Hinata giggled at the loving face he made as well. He started placing kisses allong her, her cheek, her forehead, even her nose a few times, but she gasped when he kissed her neck. He grinned with that fox-like grin of his and kissed her neck again, gently, his lips lingering by her neck. She could feel his breath on her and she felt her breath hitch. Hinata leaned over to Naruto again, kissing along his jaw, she held his chin looking into his eyes, as he played with her hair twirling it around his fingers.

"I love you Naru."

I love you too, Hina-hime."

She grabbed his hand and pulled him to his feet. He kissed her hand and bowed to her.

"How would your majesty like to get some Ramen."

Once again she giggled at his antics and nodded. Oh how she enjoyed her time with him.
