Ashley made her way back to the couch with a bowl of popcorn, an awaiting Spencer smiled sweetly as she entered the room and sat on the couch next to her.
"Ready for the Buffy marathon!" Spencer asked, grinning then popping a piece of popcorn in her mouth.

"Oh yeah!" Ashley responded grinning at the blonde. "Wow I own these DVDS and yet I haven't watched them in like, ages!"

"What episode are we going to watch?" Spencer asked, more excited then she should be."

"Well I though we would begin with the classic, Once More With Feeling! You know the one where they sing."
"You must be a big fan to have the entire series, Ashley"
"What can I say, Sarah Michelle Gellar is hot!"

" Don't forget Spike!" Spencer reminded her.

"God yeah." They both laughed, Ashley smiled, Spencer smiled back and neither moved their eyes from the gaze for what seemed for an eternity. Spencer looked to her feet and spoke up finally saying, "We should probably start watching."

Half way through the episode Spencer began stealing glances at Ashley, sometimes giggling to herself, as Ashley was singing along to all the songs. Although, Spencer wasn't the only one stealing glances. Through the entire episode both would glance then turn away before the other looked. This worked until both turned and looked at one other. Spencer looking into the dark orbs that Ashley owned and Ashley stared into Spencer's Azure eyes. Ashley leant in and brushed some of Spencer's hair behind her ear and BOOM. The lights went out.

"Must be a blown fuse." Ashley said, cursing under her breath. "I guess I better go figure it out, huh."
"You probably should." Spencer agreed.

Spencer grabbed a blanket from the cupboard behind her and made her way back to the couch and covered herself with it. "It's kinda cold" She shouted.

"WHAT!?" Ashley shouted back from the basement, "I'm in the basement"

"Want some help?"
"No, it's okay. Hey Spence, is the lights back on up there?"
"Uh, no"

"Oh crap."
"What?"

"The fuse if completely blown and I think I made it worse by screwing with it." Ashley explained. " There are some candles in my room, which I could bring down. OH and I have my portable DVD player we could keep watching Buffy if you wanted." She suggested with a smile, which was hard to see in the dark.

"Cool." Spencer replied.

A few moments later Ashley was back with DVD player and candles in hand. She lit them around the couch purposefully leaning over Spencer who was sitting on the couch to get the candle on the other side of her.

Ashley crawled under the blanket and they began watching the DVD once again. Spencer scooted down the couch near Ashley and rested her head on Ashley's shoulder. Who smiled inwardly at herself. She gently picked up Spencers hand and began playing with it making circles on it with her fingers. This caused Spencer to sigh contentedly.

Hey, at least she was doing something right!

Ashley was suddenly restless; Spencer sitting there illuminated by on the DVD screen , who was wearing that cute top they bought together, plus the peach shampoo she had in her hair was killing her!

She needed to make a move.

"I'll be right back," Ashley said attempting to get up from the couch, yet somehow Spencer had managed to pin her to her seat. Ashley was stuck staring into the blue eyes that felt like they knew her whole being and any move she had planned. Spencer smiled and leant in this time brushing her lips against Ashley's softly. She pulled back and opened her eyes to look into Ashley's.
"Want to go upstairs?" Spencer whispered, their breath mingling.

"God, yes." Ashley shouted, grabbing Spencer's hand and running up the stairs laughing, with Spencer on her tail.
