The small troll walks down the isle of books. She clutches two books and a card in her small paws. The checkout desk came in view. She pause for a bit, took a deep breathe, and walk up to it. The person behind is was a young woman, likely to be 19 or 20. She had a light, almost white, blonde hair and bright violet eyes. On her orange shirt was a name tags, which said "Rose". She was busy reading a book to notice the small pet. Kanaya stood on her tiptoes and places the books on the desk.
"Two novels, please", she said and hold put her card. Rose looks up from her book to see her. She smiles softly at her and was about to take her card, but a harsh voice came behind her.
"Ugh! Pets can notcheck out!", the main librarian said.
"Or read books", she scoffed and look at Kanaya with a face of disgust. Kanaya's ears flatten against her head, frown and whimpered a bit. The librarian just rolled her eyes.
"Get rid of...it", she said to Rose and walked away. Rose turn around to see if she was gone. The she turned back around and grabbed Kanaya's card. She scanned it and her books, then giving them back to her.
"No rules against trolls exists", she said.
Kanaya smiled widely and blushed.
"Thank you!", Kanaya squealed and turned to run to the front doors, where Porrim would be wait for her, with her little tail swaying behind her.
