"Umm, Hokage-sama?"
"Yes, Iruka?" The Third Hokage stared at his little glass ball, from which he was watching Team 7 train in the woods on the outskirts of the village.
"Well, I was wondering- is something wrong with Kakashi? He's been acting a bit antsy lately, and it seems like something's on his mind."
The Third Hokage looked up at Iruka and the scene playing out in his little orb flickered and disappeared. He sighed and motioned for Iruka to sit down. After he did so, the Hokage immediately started talking.
"You're the only other person aside from Kakashi, the other village leaders, and I who know this, so please don't let any of what I tell you leave this room."
"Yessir."
"You have probably heard of something that the leaders of all the different clans use to store evil beings in, including me."
"Yes, but why is that making Kakashi so uneasy?"
Third Hokage sighed. "Because he's been assigned to watch over it. Whi-"
Iruka leaned back in his chair, apparently relieved about something. "We'll, that's not bad. I thought something really bad had happened."
"I wasn't done explaining, Iruka. We were so desperate to rid the world of evil that we resorted to nasty things, like sealing the Nine Tailed Fox inside of Naruto. But, instead of using multiple children, we used one little girl for over ten monsters. Even after all we had put her through, she always acted cheery, but I can't even begin to fathom the immense pain her body was going through. Only three years ago did we stop this, and she had been having evil sealed in her small, frail body for seven years. She's thirteen now, and will be joining the ninja academy soon."
Iruka stared at the Hokage, speechless.
"But there is one issue- we put to much evil into that girl that she has quite literally become one with all of those creatures. Whoever she touches sees a portion of the horror one of those creatures caused, so we've forbade her from touching anyone unless they have permission from me, because of course they'll know what'll happen. So, all in all, Kakashi has been chosen by me to watch the young girl and supervise her training, along with you, of course. You are the teacher, after all. But we'll have to be very careful. You must make sure that she sits alone at all times, and that no one touches her, or her secret'll be out. You, Kakashi, the other village leaders and I are the only ones who know about this presently, and since you'll be placing her in Team 7, Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke will know about her as well. This," the Hokage slid a piece of paper over to Iruka that had a picture of an unhappy looking girl on it with her information underneath. "Is Yuuki Kimura, your new student."
