Heaven, was, peaceful. Frank knew he was in Heaven, and it surprised him. with all the sins he had committed in his life, apparently he had some something that had granted him this release from pain, and while he would miss Bri... and Claire.. he knew now that he was gone, Claire was free to return, if she could, so the man he had selfishly denied her for 20 years. He had never felt guilt about his choice, until now. knowing what he did.. and what he hadhad kept from her for all these years.
Walking casually through the fog he came across a familar site, it was the Highlander, the one from all those years ago that had been looking up at Claire, the one who had started this whole thing.. but he didnt feel the anger and jealousy he thought he would, instead, he approched the man with a smile and held out his arm in greeting.
"Jamie Fraser, I assume?" he asked as the two men shook hands, it took a moment for the red headed man to hide his panic at Franks apperence and he seemes to recognoze him.. "Aye.. ye mus be Frank.. Claire did say ya had the look 'o him..."
Claire had mentioned his resemblance to his black hearted ancestor. The too men stood in awkward silence for a moment before Jamie spoke.
" Ah ken i should thank you.. for taking back Claire, for raising Briana. but, to be honest man, I'm of the same mind to run ya though like i did ya great great great...well... Black Jack.. he wasanna so great." Jamie smirked and looked at the darker man. " Was she happy? did she go on with her life?"
Frank looked at the man as if he was insane. "She survived, Briana helped.. but we... she never let go of you.. by now im sure shes trying to find her way back."
"Aye.. she does..she and Bri and Roger Mac.. did ya ken she marries the son of a reverend? I dinna know what to think of the lad at first.. but he proved a good lad for her.. even if she walks all over him.." another smirk.
"Bri and Roger? Roger wakefield? " Frank blinked, trying to imagine that union..
"Aye, they have too wee ones, young Jem and wee Mandy. Mandy was born witha bad heart so they took her back.. to the future to get her help. they eventually came home..".
"It was you that night.. outside in the rain, looking up at Claire.." it wasnt a question.. he already knew..
"Aye.. twas the first chance i had to see her in a long time.. and i know she would come through the stones soo.."
