AN: Hey guys! So, last night, as I was doing dishes I had the perfect idea for a Gallavich fan fic. It started out as me wondering about a protective Mickey and ended with this. I hope you enjoy it as much I enjoyed writing it.

Gallavich Is Life

Guardian

I was walking home alone when I saw him. Justin Hamilton, my childhood nightmare. At first, I didn't recognize him. He was bigger now, bigger than me, and his dark hair was in a ponytail at the base of his neck. But when he turned to face me I recognized the smirk on his face easily. Knowing what he'd do if he caught up with me, I sped up. I was only a block away from home. Maybe if I ran I'd get there before he caught up with me. Mickey was waiting for me anyways. But the effort was useless. He was faster than me. I felt his hand on my arm and before I knew it, his fist was in my face. Blood spurted from my nose and I felt it run down my face. Again and again and again he hit me until I thought I would die. Or at least pass out from pain. I didn't. Climbing on top of me, Justin started to talk as he hit me. I fought back as hard as I could but he was still stronger than me.

"You've grown faggot. But I'm still bigger."

"Fuck you!"

"No thanks. I'm a real man. I don't fuck other men."

My reply, which was probably a stupid move, was to spit in his face. He snarled and started hitting me again. Harder this time and I felt rather than heard myself cry out. It seemed like hours until I heard the telltale sound of footsteps smacking against the pavement. I looked up through blood-covered eyes and saw Mickey standing with Lip above us. Mickey's expression was lethal, he looked like he always did before someone got their asses kicked. Even Lip looked a little worried at the sight of Mickey's expression. Before Justin could say anything, Mickey had thrown him off of me. As Lip bent to help me to my feet, Mickey started in on Justin, beating him bloody and black before snarling something that I couldn't understand and coming to stand at my side.

"Who's that piece of shit anyways?" Mickey asked as we headed home.

"Justin Hamilton. My childhood bully."

Mickey muttered something under his breath before wrapping an arm around my shoulders. He'd never shown that much affection in public before and I found that I rather liked it when he did. Silently, I thanked my lucky fuckin' stars that Mickey Milkovich was my boyfriend. He'd probably just saved my life back there. I wrapped an arm around Mickey's waist and grinned to myself as we entered the house. Who woulda known that Mickey could be someone's guardian fuckin' angel?
