Many moons ago, the land was running in a golden energy. This energy came from a source known as the Triforce. This energy gave all life on the planet great power and knowledge. It gave all of its power equally to the common folk of Hyrule, the Royal Family, and to the dark ones at Death Mountain. All flourished. However, one day, the power of the Triforce began to dwindle. It's power lessened, and people had less power as a result of it. A war soon broke out between the Kingdom of Hyrule (The Royal Family and the Common Folk) and the Dark Ones.
Many people died as a result, but the kingdom of Hyrule succeed. The Royal Family split the power of the Triforce equally between them and the Common Folk. As a result, peace ensued. The Royal Family, however, put the Triforce in a temple outside of Castle Town. The Dark Ones got inside of this temple and blocked the light and power of the Triforce, and took the power for themselves. The Triforce was now a dark, empty shell of what it once was. The Royal Family tried to purify it back to it's original power, but failed. The developed a badge, made of tritinarium. The badge was supposed to be able to purify the Triforce. However, when the King of Hyrule tried to purify it, the goddess, Nayru, appeared to him and told him the only the one carrying the Spirit of the Hero could purify the Triforce with the badge, which, itself, was shaped like the Triforce. Now, the one carrying this spirit would not come around for about four more decades.
But after those few decades, a miracle happened.
PrologueIn an empty field, smack dab in the middle of the Kingdom of Hyrule, at night, in the year 5.198 we meet a man, about in his twenties, riding on a horse. He rode his slow horse into a city. He rode by tons of merchants and common folk. he passed by a giant fountain and rode by the Canal of Kings. He stopped in what appeared to be a town square. He jumped right off of his horse and began to speak. There was a crowd before him and he needed to tell story to them. He, himself, was a merchant, but he had many stories to tell. He gulped his throat and began to speak. "Hello, and welcome to Castle Town, city of famous heroes, legendary spirits, amazing adventures, and more gold and riches than any other capital city in the world. Here, even the poor people look fabulous and everybody has a part in keeping Castle Town alive. Of course, none of you have been to Hyrule before, but I can help you understand why it is so amazing. Of course, you know what makes Castle Town famous, this badge." said the Merchant to the crown, holding a golden badge shaped like the Triforce. "Now, don't just walk away from this badge because it looks no special. This badge put Castle Town on the map! Now, you see, the owner of this badge all those years ago was much more than just a commoner, as most people thought. He was much more. Now, this is a true story, and you can find our hero living in the Castle. Would you like to hear the story?" continued the Merchant. The crowd clapped. The Merchant continued. "Okay then. It begins ten years ago on a bright and sunny day."
Chapter 1: Cold Season is OverIt was the year 5.188, and Hyrule was a prosperous as ever, even without the power of the Triforce. In New Castle Town, the capital of Hyrule and the biggest and most populous city in the kingdom, was up and excited. A festival was today, the festival of new life, when the cold season ended. There was to be great food, dancing, activities, and a fighting competition. In the middle of the city, around a huge fountain, there was a huge sign that read "COME TO THE FESTIVAL OF NEW LIFE, SEE GREAT FIGHTING!" "Why do they have to make it all about the fighting competition?!" Said one commoner. " "There are other great things about it!" said another. On Farore Street, there was a master fighter by the name of Jonathan Kilua, living with his nephew, Link, whose parents had sadly drowned when Link was still three years old. After this, Jonathan applied for custody of Link. Jonathan was 28 years old and Link was 12. Link had been taught by his uncle how to be as good as a fighter as him, and Link never reached this goal, but still progressed in his swordplay skills dramatically. Link's father was a legendary hero of the same name of his son. He had banished an evil sorcerer into a sword and saved a kingdom with three clones of himself. Link and his Uncle, who, as you may be confused, is Jonathan, we're not the most respected of residents. They usually had to deal with haters whenever they went into town. This was because the citizens of Castle Town were peaceful and never getting in danger. However, Link and Jonathan, especially Link, were risk seekers and very adventurous, much to the dismay of the citizens. On the day of the festival, Link and his uncle were preparing for the fighting competition, which Link would participate in this year. " Why do we need to carry all of these boxes? They are heavier than Goron skin!" groaned Link as he carried boxes of pure iron and trinitarian. " Because the King is expecting this by the end of the day." Said Jonathan in reply. Link was a kind hearted preteen and the would risk anything for others, which caught the eye of one, very special citizen. Suddenly, while Link was putting down a box, a girl wearing a large dragon mask on her face came busting in. "Hi, Linko!" Said this girl. " Oh my Farore, Zelda! You almost scared me to death!" Said Link, terrified. Zelda, laughing, took the mask off. She was 12 years old, the same age as Link. She had long, blonde hair that went down to her waist and covered her pointier-than-usual ears. She wore a band around her head so thin that it could not be seen. Connected to the sides of the band were two small, silver spikes, that were rounded at the top. She wore a golden belt and a golden band around her head with a ruby in the middle. She had blue eyes and had feminine eyelashes. She wore a dark pink shirt with no sleeves, exposing her whole arms. Under her belt, she wore a long skirt that went down past her feet. Her skirt was white, with a blue arrow on it with a Triforce picture on it. She had an average build for a girl her age, which is petite (to be femininely skinny). She had no sleeves, had a cloth that went around her neck and was longer in the back, and long white gloves that went up to her elbow. She was exactly the same age as Link, 12, and had a similar personality, being fun and smart "(Which are also some traits of Link), and kind and willing to sacrifice anything for others. Speaking of Link, We have not gotten to describe him. He was 12, he had masculine golden hair and grayish-blue eyes. He, most of the time, wore a green tunic over white pants that tucked into his brown boots made for rough terrain. He wore a brown belt with a golden buckle in the shape of a spiral. He wore brown, blacksmith gloves and wore white sleeves with chain armor over it. Link had an average build for his age. He was strong, and had the same muscular build as an average 12 year old. He, like I said before, was fun, smart, kind, and willing to sacrifice anything for others. Link and Zelda were very close friends throughout their entire childhood. In fact, Zelda was Link's only friend. However, Zelda was the princess of Hyrule, the daughter of the King, and Royal family member, and her best and only friend was a commoner, which confused the king, her father. However, he accepted it. Zelda was the only person who called Link a nickname without regretting it later for...reasons. "Are you ready for the festival?" Asked Link, in a calm, relaxed tone having just gotten over a jumps are from Zelda. "Yeah! This is the first year that I get to go without a guardian!" Zelda said in excitement. Link was planning something in his head at this time, and finally got the gut to say it. "I was wondering." Link stuttered nervously, "Would you Like to to to the festival together?" Link asked to Zelda. "Of course I will!" Replied Zelda excitedly, while blushing. " Great! I will see you at Din Time (on the Hylian Clock.)!" Replied Link. Soon, Zelda left, and Link began to get ready.
Chapter 2: DisasterLink rushed out of his uncle's house excitedly and rushed off into Cucco Street, where Zelda had told him to meet her, and where the festival entrance wasou are, Link!" Said Zelda when she saw Link dash towards her. "Do we have the tickets?" Asked Link. "Umm, actually...I may have forgot them." Said Zelda, nervously. Link then swooped in for a reply "Don't worry. We can just lay in rupees." Link said in reply. "Thank you for the reassurance!" Said Zelda, blushing. The two walked up to the admission counter along a canal. "May we please pay..." Said Link. "For admission to the festival?" Said Zelda, finishing Link's sentence, which the two could do. "It will be 50 Rupees." Said the cashier. "Woah, woah! 50 Rupees!" Said Link in anger. "This is a festival that is important to thousands of people, and you expect the to pay 50 rupees! We demand a refund!" Said Zelda, supporting Link. "Sorry, you have to pay or no festival for you." responded the Cashier. "Wait. What does that sign over there say?" Link said, sarcastically. "Um, the customer will always be right, no matter what." Said the cashier. "What are we?" Sarcastically said Link. "Customers." Responded the Cashier. "And the sign." Said Link. "Fine! It will be 30 rupees!" Said the Cashier. Link and Zelda than payed, shared a High-five, and walked in. The festival was huge. Crowds of commoners flocked the streets looking for things to do, and people from all over Hyrule came to celebrate the beginning of the warm season. Castle Town had become a party-palace. "Attention! The fighting competition will begin in an hour!" Screamed an announcer at the top of his lungs so loud that Zelda felt like it had shattered her skull. Link and Zelda went from attraction to attraction, winning prizes, eating great food, and having a great time. Now, Zelda had just won a sword made from iron with hints on diamond in it, which she planned to give to Link as a gift later. " Hey, Zelda. It is just about time to start the competition." Said Link. "I will be cheering you on. Said Zelda, excitedly. Soon enough, the competition started and Link was given a stone shield and pure iron sword. His turn was coming soon. Link went up and was very nervous. Zelda was cheering from the crowd and Link was ready to begin. His opponent then walked into the ring Whispered Link as he saw his opponent, Groton. Gorton was the best sword fighter in the neighboring town, Kakariko. "You are dead, kid." Said Gorton. The battle then began. Gorton rushed towards Link with such force. He pushed Link against the wall and almost smashed the kid, but Link fought back and began to swing his sword at Gorton. He fended off Gorton for a little while before Gorton began to fight back. Gorton then took out his sword and tried to cut off Link's head. Then, the referee called out the battle. "GORTON HUNNINGHAM! NO TRYING TO KILL OPPONENTS! YOU HAVE BEEN DISQUALIFIED!" Screamed the Ref. Zelda began to celebrate in the crowd, now that Link had won the battle by default. Link then battled through ten more opponents and beat them all, legitly this time. Link walked up into the rink, ready for the championship battle. People in the crowd began to cheer for Link, which surprised him, because people usually hated him. Suddenly, his opponent walked into the scene. He was named Ganondorf. He was a Gerudo, the only male in his tribe, and the king of the Gerudo. He had green skin, and wore black armor with patterns and symbols all over it. He had a long rag that he used as a cape. He had fire-red hair and a short, pointy nose. he was 3 times taller than Link and was a good swordsman. "Welcome to your doom, little kid." said Ganondorf, looking at Link as merely a beetle in size to him. Link went in for a slice, but Ganon (which was his nickname) pounded Link to the ground. "Hey, Ganon! Do you live in a dump full of black muck?!" taunted Link as he got up from the ground. Ganondorf gave Link an icy stare, since he called him Ganon, which Ganondorf hated. Ganondorf rushed towards Link with a huge amount of force. Link then moved to the side and Ganondorf crashed into the net. This wore him down a ton, but not before Ganondorf could get up and beat Link senseless. "GANONDORF! NO SENSELESSLY BEATING OPPONENTS! YOU HAVE BEEN DISQUALIFIED!" screamed the Ref, and Link won by default. The crowd cheered, to Link's confusion. Link triumphantly got out of the rink and saw that people were actually impressed by his skill. Soon enough, Zelda ran up to Link and hugged him very tightly. "Great job, Linko!" Said Zelda in a happy voice. "Zelda, you are starting to suffocate me." Said Link. Zelda responded " Oh, sorry." and let him go. All of a sudden, fire began to fill the sky and the ground started shaking. A tall, slender figure rose from a cloud of darkness. Disaster had struck.
Chapter 3: AncestryLightning began as this tall figure moved in on the crowd of people. Zelda, terrified, hugged Link tightly. Link, while scared, began to blush, and was ready to not turn away from this figure. The thing moved in closer and finally revealed itself. The figure was not as tall as it had looked, as it had merely been floating. This "thing" was a person, and he looked slightly intimidating. He had pale blue skin, bone coloured horns, he had a brown mustache and bullet-like-eyes. He had fire red hair and was very short. He wore a green tuxedo and brown khaki pants. He was slightly fat and looked like a royal adviser. "Bow down before the King of Demons!" Said this person. "Who is the King of Demons? It is definitely not you! You look too much like a deformed baby and a weakling to be a king!" Said Link, tauntingly. "Stop talking back, you silly kid! I am Malladus, King of Demons!" Said the creature, whose name was Malladus. Malladus took out a strange instrument and began to play a strange song. After this, a statue appeared before the crowds eyeS. It looked just like Link, but with creepily small eyes and a creepy smile, as well as a weird, long hat, which was point at the end, but dropped down to the statues lower neck. Link's ancestors wore this kind of hat as a family tradition, but Link decided not to wear it, because he thought that it looked ridiculous. "I now have a vessel, but now I need the spirit." Said Malladus, looking up at the statue. The statue was smaller than Link, but bigger than Malladus, since Malladus was about up to Link's hand, since he was very small.
Nobody could understand what Malladus had meant. " I am sure that the next part is in a temple here." Said Malladus, looking around. "You have no right to just walk into this festival like you own the place! Leave now, by order of the Princess!" Said Zelda, yelling at Malladus. Zelda then took out the sword that she had won earlier and rushed in to take a slice out of his little Malladus head. Malladus then telekinetically picked up Zelda and threw her to the ground, knocking her out. Link, angered by this, Link ran in as well to take revenge on the Demon King, but not before Malladus did the same thing to him. A few hours later, Link woke up in a bed inside of Hyrule Castle, with Zelda in a bed next to his. Link got up and rushed to make sure that Zelda was ok. Zelda got up a few minutes later, looking fine. The two walked into the garden where they saw the King, his vizier, and the Royal Army. "We need to talk to you to kids." Said the King, whose last name was Daphnes, which we will refer to him by for now. "Malladus has taken a course for the Temple of the Triforce. You heard the story, right?" Explained Daphnes. "Yes." Said Link and Zelda at the same time. "Well then, he is planning to use it for...some reason." Continued Daphnes. "Well, what is the kingdom of Hyrule going to do about it?" Asked Zelda. "Well, that is where you kids come in. You see, when Link was knocked out, we saw that he gained a Triforce mark on his hand. With the piece to the bottom-left glowing brighter than the others, and that piece is the Triforce of Courage. That was a sign, that Link here is the One Carrying the Spirit of the Hero, and the descendent of Hylia's chosen hero." Said Daphnes, and then he continued. "Link, you see, your ancestry is an important one. All of your male ancestors, who all had the same name as you, carried the Spirit of the Hero and saved Hyrule in one way or another. Because you carry this spirit, then you may be able to purify the Triforce before Malladus gets to it. To do this task, you must purify the Triforce with this." Said Daphnes as he handed Link a trinitarian badge shaped like the Triforce. "Use this. Pin it over your heart and it will guide you to the temple, which even I have no idea of the whereabouts of. Once inside, place the badge on the Triforce, and it will finally be restored to it's full power. But please do this before Malladus gets to it first!" Explained Daphnes. Link pinned the badge over his heart and said "I will do it.". "Great" said the vizier. "Wait! Link, if you go, then I will go!" Said Zelda in a nervous voice. "Are you sure, daughter? This will be dangerous for both you and Link." Asked Daphnes. "Dad, please just let me follow my own path." Said Zelda, talking back. "Well, fathers can not hold on to their children forever. You can go with Link." Said Daphnes. "Yes! Thank you, father!" Said Zelda in response as she went next to Link. "Are you ready, Zelda?" Asked Link. "Ready as I ever will be." Replied Zelda. Soon enough, the two rushed off, out to their first adventure together.
Chapter 4: A Timeless SpiritLink and Zelda were in Hyrule Castle, packing for the journey ahead. "Thank you for coming with me on this." Said Link. "Sure thing, Linko. So, where is the Temple of the Triforce?" Asked Zelda. "I do not know. However, Daphnes said that this badge glows when the Triforce is near." Responded Link. "I think that the Badge looks good on you. I like how it is shaped like the Triforce. It really fits you." Said Zelda. "Thanks." Said Link, both stuttering and blushing. A few hours later, the two left the chaotic Castle Town and set off. At the gate, the two looked out onto the expansive Hyrule field, which was a huge plain in the middle of Hyrule, that connected all areas of the kingdom. The two then ran out into the field. "This is beautiful!" Said Link. "Yes, it is!" Responded Zelda. Soon, Zelda pointed to the Lost Woods. "You badge is starting to glow in that direction." Said Zelda. "Then that is where we should go." Responded Link. "Oh, wait! I almost forgot, I was going to give this to you. I hope that you like it." Said Zelda, nervously, blushing, while handing Link the sword that she had won earlier. "I love it." Responded Link, holding the sword in his hands, and then putting it into his sheath. The two then walked into the Lost Woods, which was a maze-like forest. They wandered through the forest until they got lost. "Where are we? I do not feel comfortable here." Asked Zelda, clearly scared. "Don't worry. You are my closest friend and I know that I will not let anything happen to you or I." Responded Link. Zelda blushed and soon felt much more confident. The two friends kept going until they saw a temple. Outside of the temple was a chest. Link ran forwards this chest and opened it up. Inside of it he found, a Hookshot, a bow, a quill of arrows, a bag of bombs, a slingshot and boomerang, some potions, rupees, a metal Sheila, and some more supplies. "Oh my, we hit the jackpot!" Said Link as he opened the chest. Link took the tools and weapons and split them equally with Zelda. Zelda chose mostly defensive items, like potions and light arrows. Link took the offense items, like the shield, bow, and Hookshot. Zelda already had a bow to fight with in her pack. The two then walked into the temple. When they got in, Malladus and the same creepy statue of Link were waiting for them in there. Link's badge began to glow a brilliant and bright golden light that blinded Malladus. Malladus fought back by shooting Link and Zelda with dark beams, but the golden light protected them. Link took out his new bomb bag and Zelda took out her bow. Link began to throw bombs at Malladua. Zelda shot Malladus with Light Arrows. None of these efforts worked. Malladus went in and tried to steal Link's badge. Malladus and his statue were then blasted out of the temple by the badge. "That was unexpected." Said Link. "Correct. Now, let's go try to purify the Triforce." Said Zelda. They then walked into a dark room. Links badge then stopped glowing and before Link and Zelda's eyes, the Triforce appeared. It was black and showed no light.. It was shaped like a triangle and was composed of three, smaller golden triangles. (the triforces of Power, Courage, And Wisdom.) "It is very beautiful." Said is Zelda in amazement. Link walked up to the Triforce and placed his badge on it. Suddenly, the Triforce became bright golden and shone a brilliantly bright light. "We did it, we purified the Triforce!" Said Zelda. Suddenly, Malladus came into the room. "What! You actually did it. Now you will pay!" Screamed Malladus. He pushed Link and Zelda to the ground and took the Triforce. He the. Floated away and left Link and Zelda laying in pain. Link got up, and helped Zelda get up as well. He walked up to the pedestal that held the Triforce and saw a golden crystal laying there. "This is what is left? It looks worthless!" Said Link in anger. He picked up the crystal in wonder. Suddenly, it began to shake and rattle. It's top bursted off of it and smoke and fireworks went everywhere. Link dropped the crystal and defended Zelda from the dangerously close fireworks. Suddenly, a triangle-shaped figure came out of the smoke. It looked weak and was just a golden triangle with eyes, a mouth, arms, and legs. He had a belt and gold bands around his wrist. "Arrgghh! Owch! Getting out of there hurt more than I thought. Did those fireworks make me look ugly? Look at me, do I look uglier than Miley Cyrus?" Asked the creature, whom we will now refer to as "Spirit". "What does he mean?" Asked Link. "Who is Miley Cyrus?" Asked Zelda. "Wait? You released me. I am a your service." Said Spirit. "Wait, wait. Service? I have to be dreaming." Said Link. "Yes! You know that the Triforce has great power, and that whoever touches it get a wish granted. Well, I am what gives the Triforce that power. With me, the Triforce is nothing. I am the Spirit of the Triforce. As a reward for releasing me, I will give you more than one wish, maybe four." Said Spirit. "Why four?" Asked Zelda. "Because all of the movies have three wishes, I do not want to copy them. Now that I think about it, I am practically a rip-off of Robin Williams "Genie"". Said Spirit. "Movies? Robin Williams?" Asked Link. "There are, of course, limitations. Number one, no wishing for more wishes. Second, no killing anybody. That is it". Said Spirit, sitting next to Link and Zelda on a block of stone. "We need help with a problem with Malladus." Said Zelda. "Malladus! I know his plan. He is planning to unleash an all-powerful spirit by gathering sacred items from different time periods, past and future. He is from the future in one of the branched timelines, which I can tell you about later. I have something that you can use to help defeat Malladus." Explained Spirit. Then, Spirit created something out of a random stone. He made it bean shaped and hollow and put a "blow-hole" in it as well as finger holes. It was blue with a small Triforce icon ring around the hole to be blown into. This thing was an instrument. It was an ocarina.
Chapter 5: Doubting JohnSpirit created the ocarina and placed it on top of a pedestal. He shone a light over it and suddenly, Spirit was wearing a tuxedo, top hat, and tie. He was now holding a microphone and began to talk into it. "I introduce you to your very own ocarina! Watch out, it is hard to play. Thanks for coming on the show, we will see you next week on The Spirit Show!" Said Spirit, pointing at the ocarina. His suit now disappeared. Zelda went up to look at the ocarina with an uncertain expression. "Wait...this is our ticket to stopping Malladus? How can this help? This will not help. I guess that Link and I will have to beat Malladus ourselves." Said Zelda, sarcastically. Clearly, she was duping Spirit. Spirit was angry at this. Link and Zelda began to walk out of the temple, until Spirit stopped them. "Excuse me? I heard you. Why? You woke me up, brought me here, asked for my help, and now you are walking out on me? No, no! You will get my help so LISTEN!" Said Spirit in anger. He then picked up the ocarina, and began to play. Suddenly, a blue aurora surrounded the trio, and they disappeared. Meanwhile, at Hyrule Castle, Malladus was planning something. "Yes! We now have our next piece to unleashing Him!" Said Malladus, holding the Triforce. "Now, I have to wake up the Spirit Of Good Fortune." Said Malladus, ready to unleash Spirit. "And here we go, we still have, like, 20 more things to find to awaken the Spirit of Bad Fortune, but this spirit is our next step." As Malladus said this, he opened a hatch in the Triforce of Power, and saw nothing come out. "Wait! Why is the Spirit of Good Fortune not here! Argh! Wait...it was those two kids. Oh well, I have to find some other substitute for this spirit." Said Malladus in anger. Meanwhile, Link, Zelda, and Spirit came back into view, but were not in the same place as before. Instead, they were in a floating island in the sky. "Link, welcome to the year 1 BO. This is the time when your first ancestor had his adventure! Welcome to the past! Hey, Zelda, I have something to say to you." Explained Spirit. "What is it, Spirit?" Asked Zelda. "TAKE THAT, DOUBTING JOHN!" Responded Spirit, tauntingly. "So, this is the past? So that Ocarina does have some special use. Now, about my four wishes." Said Link. "Wait, you are down by ONE!" Said Spirit. "Nope. Zelda never wished to see what the ocarina could do." Said Link in response. Spirit felt angered and dumbfounded.
"WHAT!" He said as he turned into a person looking like Markiplier. "Fine, but no more freebies, understand?" Said Spirit. "Yes." Said Link and Zelda in response at the same time. "Now, Spirit, what is exactly happening?" Asked Link. "Wait, what is the magic word?" Asked Spirit. "Ugh! Fine. I wish for you to tell us exactly what is happening." Said Link, using his first wish. Spirit turned back into his true form. "Ok. Now, let me explain." Said Spirit. "You see, after your descendent, the Hero of Time , in the future defeated the King of Evil, Ganondorf Dragmire, he was sent back on in time, back to his childhood. You see, he traveled to the future to defeat Ganon, but he turned into an adult doing so. After all of this ended and he was sent back in time, our timeline split into three branches, which I mentioned earlier. One branch continues from after future Link is sent back to his childhood and stops Ganon before Ganon is able to retrieve the full Triforce. The next branch happens during the time when the Hero of time was an adult, after he was sent back. This "adult timeline" however, still continued. Hyrule now had no hero and Ganondorf now had the chance to return. He wreaked havoc in Hyrule. The gods then decided that seal him away forever. So, they turned Hyrule into a great ocean, leaving the Hylians on islands to rebuild society. Soon, some sailors found a new continent to create a "new Hyrule" on, which they did. You'd think that that is all of the branches, but it is not. There was actually a third. This one was more of an alternate universe, where future Link failed to defeat Ganondorf as an adult. Because of this, the sages had to seal away Ganon. The Hero of Time was reincarnated into the Hero of Legend and had adventures throughout this parallel universe. You see, Malladus is from the "Adult Timeline" in New Hyrule, where he was defeated by the Hero of Wind's reincarnation, the hero of...this will sound stupid...trains! Yes, trains. Anyway, his goal is to get revenge on all of the Hero of train's, sorry, I cannot say that with a straight face, ancestors and reincarnations and parallel universe versions, including you, Link. He plans to do this by unleashing an all powerful, evil, destructive spirit named the Spirit of Bad Fortune, or BEN. He will not just destroy you and all versions and reincarnations of you, but also all time periods and the people living in them. He will do this by gathering artifacts called the "fragments of time" to awaken BEN. He will find over 20 of these artifacts throughout different time periods, all of them including a version of you, Link, including the time period that we are in right now. That is why we need to stop Malladus, or the Armageddon will come from BEN." Explained Spirit. "That is probably the longest and most complicated story about a villain plan that I have ever had to sit through." Said Link, and Zelda agreed. "Well, I am sorry for being a big Bill Gates." Said Spirit. "Bill Gates?" Asked Zelda. "So, where and when are we exactly right now?" Asked Link. "Well, we are not in one of the branches. We are in the time before the split. This is the time where your first ancestors lived, Link and Zelda. This is before Hyrule was founded, and the Hylians lived in a floating city called Skyloft. But, Zelda, your ancestor, and who is around during this time, eventually goes to the surface and founds Hyrule, with help from Link's ancestor." Said Spirit. Suddenly, Malladus appeared in Skyloft, holding his ocarina, which had the same ability as Link's. "I must find it." Said Malladus. "Oh, that guy is a Doubting John!" Said Link in anger, now that he knew what he was dealing with.
Chapter 6: A Problematic Run-InLink rushed in to take a slice out of Malladus, but Malladus teleported away before he could. Link then fell to the ground, but Spirit stopped the pain. "Thank you." Said Link. "We should get get to stopping Malladus. Wait, why does he have a creepy statue of me?" Asked Link. "This is just a guess, but I think that Malladus might plan to have that empty statue be a host, or body for BEN." Said Spirit. The trio walked around Skyloft and admired the scenery and nice town, until they saw a huge angel statue. Spirit went out to check out the Bazaar. Link and Zelda went to check out the statue. When they arrived, they saw an amazing sight. "Wait, is that our ancestors?" Asked Zelda. Right before the friends, two people looking much like Link and Zelda were standing, alone at the statue. This past Link had brown hair and the exact same clothes as normal Link, but wore the pointed hat that Link never wore. We will refer to him as "The Chosen Hero" to avoid confusion. The past Zelda had a completely different hairstyle than our Zelda, with the bottom being rounded. She showed no signs of royalty and wore commoner clothes. The two were about 16-17 years old, and our Link and Zelda were 12. They stood there, smiling at eachother. The past Zelda, who we will refer to as "Hylia" gave the Chosen Hero a sailcloth and the two the. Spent some quiet time together, almost in a romantic way. Both Link and Zelda began to blush and felt very nervous, with thoughts going through both of their heads. "This is very awkward." Said Link. "Agreed." Said Zelda. Watching both of their ancestors acting this way made our kids nervous. Hello, I am back." Said Spirit as he walked into the scene. "What is wrong?" Asked Spirit. Then, Spirit realized the situation. "Oh. You two must feel uncomfortable seeing this. I understand." Said Spirit in an understanding voice. "Maybe you two should find something else to do." Said Spirit. "Thank you. Spirit." Said Zelda, and the three walked off. They went off onto a random, very isolated floating island in Skyloft, and sat down for a while, until Malladus showed up. "You two are here! Said Malladus angrily. "AND YOU HAVE THE SPIRIT OF GOOD FORTUNE ON YOUR SIDE!? THAT IS HORRIBLE FOR ME AND BEN!" Screamed Malladus. Malladus began to attack. First, he tried to knock Zelda off of Skyloft. Zelda almost fell off, but Link was able to catch her before she did. "Thank you." Said Zelda, overwhelmed. "You are welcome, princess." Said Link in response. This was the polite way in Hyrule to say "you are welcome" to Royal Family member. Link ran in to attack Malladus. He took out his Hookshot and began shooting at Malladus, failing every time. Next, Link pulled out his sword and tried to slice Malladus, this time actually working, and Malladus fled. "That was unexpected." Said Spirit. "Thank you for fending him off, Link." Said Zelda. "Hey, why would I let my closest friend get into danger." Said Link in response. "Let's just hope that we did not change the past, or change the future, or...I do not get all of this time travel mumbo-jumbo. "Nobody saw what happened." Said Spirit. "Except for us." Said a voice from behind. The Trio turned around to too The Chosen Hero and Hylia (which are just nicknames to avoid confusion with all of the Link incarnations, which all share the same name, as well as the Zelda incarnations). Spirit began to get nervous. "Oh...darn...it."
Chapter 7: The First Dark Omen"Who are you?" Asked Hylia. "I think that we might have messed up the past." Said Spirit. "They were supposed to go to the Loftwing Ceremony, but we may have stopped them." "Well, we should go to the Loftwing ceremony." Said the Chosen Hero. "Thank goodness no paradoxes were created." Said Link. "You never answered my question, who are you?" Asked Hylia again. "Oh, I am Link." Said Link. "I am Zelda." Said Zelda. "And I am Spirit." Said Spirit. "Wait, my name is Link too, and her name is Zelda as well." Wait Said Chosen Hero, pointing at Hylia. "Wait, he is close to finding out that we are his and her's descendants. That could spell trouble." Whispered Link to the rest of the group. "Just go to the Loftwing ceremony." Said Spirit. "Ok, then." Said Hylia as her and Chosen Hero walked away. "Thank Nayru that they are gone." Said Zelda. "So, what exactly is Malladus collecting?" Asked Link. "Well, he is collecting over 20 medallions called Dark Omens. These omens have the ability to awaken BEN. If we want to defeat him, we need to collect the polar opposites to these omens called Light Omens, which can not awaken a spirit, but give us power equal to that of BEN. With that power, we could defeat BEN after he is awakened. The first Dark Omen is in this time period in a dungeon in Skyloft, and so is the first Light Omen." Explained Spirit. "Ok, like that made any sense." Said Zelda. "Blurt, blah, blanch" Said Spirit. "Ok, now I get it." Said Zelda in response. They began to walk around and tried to find this dungeon, with no prevail. Spirit went off on his own to find it, and Link and Zelda went off to get supplies. Spirit tried looking everywhere, under the angel statue, all hidden doors in the bazaar, and even in the Knight Academy, which Spirit was chased out of by a family of cats. Link and Zelda had now bought some nets and healing potions. Finally, Spirit had found the dungeon. "Hey! Link! Zelda! I found the dungeon!" Said Spirit. Soon enough, Link and Zelda ran over. "Where is it?" asked Zelda. "Let me show you two." said Spirit, and they went off. They wandered for a while before finally arriving there. "Well, here we are." said Spirit when the trio arrived. They were standing before the angel statue again. "I checked here before, and found nothing. I came back again, and found it here." said Spirit. "Where is it?" asked Link. "It is under the statute." said Spirit. "So, we have to dig underground?" asked Zelda. "Yes." said Spirit. "Ugh!" said Zelda. Spirit then turned into a modern-looking drill. "Let's go down." said Spirit. Link and Zelda got on his back and began to go underground
Chapter 8: Worse than the Water TempleThe trio dug underground, under the angel statue. Their faces filled with dirt, until they broke through the ground and fell down into the sky, since SKyloft is on a series of floating islands. Link and Zelda began to scream, but spirit turned into a parachute and brought the two to the ground safely. "What the heck! That was terrible!" said Link. "Yeah!" said Zelda. "That was fun." said Spirit. They had landed on the ground. "This area is what will eventually become Hyrule." said Spirit. "So, this is what it was like before Hyrule was founded?" asked Zelda. The surface was filled with nothing but nature. "This is where the dungeon is." said Spirit. "Well, I do not see it." said Link. "You see, we have to dig again." said Spirit. "Argh!" said Zelda in anger. (Three Hours later) "Well, we are here." said Spirit. The trio was miles underground, their faces dirty as heck. suddenly, they fell into a giant, hollow room filled with oxygen, allowing Link and Zelda to breathe, was Spirit did not need it. The Trio was standing before a rock-cut entrance shaped like the city of Petra. Stone pillars going up into the surface and a huge, decorated door. "Well, we are here." Said Spirit. "And I did it all without you having to wish me to do it." Continued Spirit. The trio walked into the dungeon and were immediately standing before a huge amount of traps and demons. Spirit made a move to make another reference that Link and Zelda did not understand. "This will be worse than the Water Temple."
Chapter 9: Koloktos. Our heroes stared at the challenge ahead. "Who put all of this here!" Screamed Link. "It makes no sense!" Said Zelda in response. "The Gorons. This is a temple of worship for them." Said Spirit. "Then why is a temple for worship filled with things that could kill even a Goron?!" Asked Link in a loud voice. "I dunno. I guess that Gorons are really weird." Said Spirit in response. "Well, whatever. I'll just step into here." Said Zelda. Suddenly, a rat got onto the platform that the trio was standing on. "Eeeeek!" Screamed Zelda as she jumped back from the creature. She ran over to Link and hugged him out of fear. Link blushed and told the rat to go away. Somehow, the rat listened and Scuttled away. "What is up with her?" Asked Spirit. "RATS ARE MY BIGGEST FEAR!" Screamed Zelda in response. The trio walked in and thought of a plan to get past the traps and Demons (which are a species in Hyrule that is powered by the greed and evil within the human heart.) (Just to avoid confusion, Hylians are humans. "Hylian" is a term that means any citizen of Hyrule, but they are just regular humans. Just to avoid confusion with anybody who thought that Hylians were a different species.) Soon, the trio decided to just run for it. They did this and made it to the other side of the dungeon, injured (except for Spirit.) The trio then looked out onto a large corridor where there was a chest. Link ran towards the chest and opened it. Inside, there was a whip and hook. "This...is...it?" Said Link. "A rope, and hook. Hah, hah, ...hah...hah...THIS IS IT!?" Said Link in stress. "Well, maybe it will come useful." Said Link in reassurance. "Maybe...right now." Said Zelda. Suddenly, a powerful looking being appeared before them. He had no legs and was stuck to the ground. He had eight arms with small blades. He was giant compared to the trio. He was made of metal and was golden. He had deep black eyes and no mouth. He wore a golden hat similar to some of the Hindu gods and goddesses. He had a huge purple hole in his huge, muscular chest. He covered this purple spot with his blades, implying that it was a weak spot. "What is the robot-creature thing?" Asked Zelda. Spirit scanned the creature for a while and said "That is Koloktos. He is the defender of subterranean territory and guardian of the first light and dark omens." Explained Spirit. "We will have to defeat him to get our omen." Said Spirit. "Ok. Maybe with this new whip and hook, I can tear his limbs off and hit his purple hole, which looks like a weak spot?" Asked Link. Just as Spirit was going to respond, Koloktos took a swing at Link and knocked him into the wall. Zelda then picked up the whip and went towards Koloktos. She took the whip and, with a hard time, tore off Koloktos arms once at a time. Once Koloktos had no limbs left, his weak spot was open for attack. Zelda took out her bow and arrows and shot at Koloktos. Link woke up. "Here, I can take over from here." Said Link, and Zelda have Link the whip. Soon, Koloktos beta. To shake. "You know what, screw this!" Said Koloktos. He busted out of the ground, revealing heavily armoured legs he regrew his eight arms but now had huge swords in each that were bigger than Link himself. "Oh, crud." Said Link. Koloktos swung at Link repeatedly and almost brought him down, but as Koloktos was going to kill Link, Link took out his whip and swung at Koloktos. He tore off one of Koloktos arms and took the giant sword. Link then went to use the sword to mutilate Koloktos until he had no limbs left. Link sliced at the weak spot, and Koloktos blew up. Where Koloktos was there was now a glowing white orb. Link ran up to grab it. "YES! OUR FIRST LIGHT OMEN!" Wait...where is the first dark omen?" Asked Link. "Wait, I think that Malladus already got to it." Said Spirit. "He must have gone to the next time period.". Link sighed. "Then we should follow him." Said Zelda. "What song do we play to travel in time again?" Asked Link. "I think that it is, up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, ba, start." Said Spirit. "There is a start hole?" Asked Zelda. Link began to play the ocarina. He played the song that Spirit had explained and the trio disappeared. (Sorry for how long this segment was. The next few segments for different time periods will be shorter.)
Chapter 10: The Real MalladusIt was a warm day in Old Castle Town, year 2.179. Malladus had just traveled to this time from the future from the year 1 BO and was ready to make a move. "BEN. BEN. What a strange name. It sounds like the name of just some kid." said Malladus in wonder. He had gotten his first dark omen and was ready to find his next dark omen. He wandered through Old Castle Town, people fearing hi as he walked by. "Why is there nobody here to help me find this next omen?" thought Malladus as he walked by. Suddenly, strange hole appeared in the sky. "Oh crud! I caused a paradox, didn't I!" said Malladus. Him just being in this time period seemed to have ripped a hole in reality. Meanwhile, something was going on inside of Malladus. Inside of his heart, there was a blue skull-looking creature all transparent and floating like a cloud and had no and red eyes. "Oh, Chancellor Cole, what did you do!" said this creature's name was Malladus. "I possesed you after your failure in defeating the Hero of Trains, and you do this to me?! Why?!" screamed the creature, shaking in anger. The person the Link, Zelda, and Spirit had been fighting had really been a host for the real Malladus. Just to clear things up, Chancellor Cole was the person who the trio of heroes has been fighting against, and he was being controlled by a spirit named Malladus. (I have been referring to Chancellor Cole as Malladus, and now I will call him Cole and not Malladus, as the two are separate.) Back outside, Cole was staring at the warped hole around, his horns gleaming in the sunlight. "Maybe this is exactly what I wanted to happen." said Cole. Back inside of his heart, Malladus replied. "Yes it is."
Chapter 11: Spirit Vs. The Hole. Our trio reappeared after time traveling again, this time in the same year that Cole was now in. "Welcome to the year 2.179. Link, Zelda, you have ancestors in this year." Spirit explained. Link did not respond. He was engrossed in a cloudy, glowing hole in the sky. "This is a wormhole, made from light passing through time and making the things that people do while in the past cause a hole to be ripped in the multiverse." Explained spirit in an old mans voice while taking the form of Albert Einstein. "This is now time for joking around! We have to deal with that hole!" said Zelda in anger. Spirit turned back into his normal form. "Ok, I wish for you to deal with that wormhole, Zelda and I will go find the person responsible. Said Link. "There goes your second wish." said Spirit. "But your wish is my command." People everywhere in Old Castle Town now were scared out of their wits. The city was chaotic, people were screaming about the apocalypse, fire, and darkness. Spirit flew up to the wormhole. "It just seems like the wormhole gets further away when I attempt to get closer." said Spirit. Spirit could not reach the wormhole with all of his power, until he got a boost from a falling rock. ALl across Old Castle Town there was destruction. The wormhole was literally crushing the town. The hole was sending fire raining down and stones destroying every building. Spirit finally got caught up to the hole. He stretched his size and attempted to block the hole. This did not work, and Spirit was sucked inside. Meanwhile. Link and Zelda were running through the destruction, looking for the person responsible for this, until they found Cole, laughing terribly. "Did you do this, Malladus?!" Screamed Zelda. "Don't you mean Cole?" asked Cole. "What do you mean? Your name is Malladus." said Link. "No, it...is...COLE!" Screamed Cole. Cole then created a gigantic mallet from thin air and hit Link and Zelda with it. The two lay on the ground after having been thrown a few feet. The wormhole gained on the duo of friends and sucked them in.
Chapter 12: "Dodongos"Link and Zelda were now thrown into the wormhole. Zelda was flipping all around until Link put her back in standing position. "Thank you. Wait a minute, how how can he walk in here?" Asked Zelda. "Maybe that is just how wormholes work. Also, you're welcome." Said Link. The two ran through the blue tube until they found Spirit, floating idly along. "That was fun." said Spirit. Suddenly, the trio was pulled through the wormhole a a fast speed by an invisible force, until they were finally thrown out of the wormhole. Once they were out, they were clearly not in the time period that they were in before, the one with the breaking Castle Town, but instead in a poorly designed castle with an ugly looking king that can only be described in a picture.
"Oh no! Guys...welcome...to...CDI Kingdom!' Said Spirit in fear. This ugly king sat on his throne and said "You dare insult King Harkinian? YOU MUST DIE!". He emphasised the "die" part in a laughable way. Link and Zelda were now on the floor, laughing hysterically. "I'm so hungry, I could eat an octorok." said a voice coming from a random door. The voice sounded very annoying and can be described as a stereotypical surfer's voice. Suddenly, the person stepped into the light. Link noticed that it must be an alternate reality version of him. Not an incarnation, because Link knew that no one in Hyrule was this ugly. Just like Harkinian, I can only describe him in a picture. (picture on next page.) "I would love to undo his face." whispered Zelda. "Hero of Faces (CDI Link is the Hero of Faces), why are you talking." asked Harkinian. "Why can't he talk?" asked Zelda. Harkinian responded quickly in a stupid voice. "Well, he took a vow of silence of saying anything a year ago." "Why?" asked Link. "Well... I'll just show you." Harkinian took out a hologram-crystal-thing and showed the trio some scenes. All of them included the Hero of Faces. In one scene he was saying "I won!" in an irritating voice. In another, he was saying "Dodongos!" in the same voice. In another, he was standing next to an ugly girl saying "How about a kiss, for luck?" in the worst voice that the trio has heard yet. The crystal then turned off. "Now do you see?" asked Harkinian. "Now I get it." said Spirit. "Lets get out of here." Spirit then picked up the ocarina and began playing a different song. Soon, the trio disappeared.
Chapter 13: The Minish Cap"Finally, are back where we should be." said Spirit. They were now back in the year 2.179. The wormhole was still there. Old Castle Town was now in ruins. Cole was standing above the wreckage, laughing. "Hey, guess what I have." said Cole, tauntingly. He then held up a black orb about the size of his head. "I got my second Dark Omen while you were gone." said Cole. "Well, where?" asked Link. "I think that I know." said a voice coming from afar. "Who is that?" asked Zelda. "It is I, the Hero of the Minish." said a kid coming in to the scene. He was not much older than Link and was clearly his ancestor. (To avoid confusion, I will refer to our Link as Link and refer to all of his other ancestors and future incarnations by their titles.) "Yes" said the hat that the Hero of the Minish wore. Yes, his hat. To show what the Hero of the Minish looks like, here is a picture. "I am Ezlo, The Minish Cap." said his hat again. The Hero of the Minish then took out his sword and went to slash at Cole. He was successful, and knocked Cole back by 12 feet and 6 inches. Ezlo then bite off one of Cole's ears, but there was no result. No blood, no mark, his ear just plopped off. "Tell me where the Light Omen is! Or else." said The Hero of the Minish. He put his sword to his throat. "Okay! It is in the Temple of the Four Sword!" said Cole in fear. Inside of Cole, Malladus was raging about. "Crud! Why did Cole reveal the location." said Malladus in rage. Back outside, The Hero of the Minish was now in an empty building with nothing but an empty sword pedestal. holding another Light Omen. "I believe that you need this." Said The Hero of the Minish to Link. "Why, thank you. How did you know about the Light and Dark Omens?" asked Link. "I was actually just playing along. Why do you need it?" asked the Hero of the Minish. "ACtually, we need these to stop Malladus from unleashing the Spirit of Bad Fortune." explained Zelda. "Don't you mean Cole?" asked The Hero of The Minish. "I thought that his name was Malladus." said Link. "Well, I forgot to tell you that the person you have been fighting is actually named Chancellor Cole. You see, Cole is actually working for Malladus, who is a Spirit trying to awaken BEN (you remember who that is, right?). Malladus is residing inside of Cole." explained Spirit. "Does that mean that Cole is not really our villain?" asked Zelda. "Well, Cole chose to work with Malladus, knowing what would happen, so Cole is still not off free." answered Spirit.
"Why have no paradoxes started as a result of this?" asked Zelda. "Well, that is because I am with you. I have the power to keep paradoxes from happening when I am with you. But Cole, clearly he created a paradox because Malladus, while a Spirit like me, still cannot prevent paradoxes." Explained Spirit. That wormhole was a paradox. "Well, thank you, Hero of the Minish. We will be on our way." said Spirit. "Wait, I have something for you, Link." Said The Hero of the Minish. "I got this from a Time Lord that I met a while back. If you need to call for the help any of your ancestors or future incarnations, just use this, and summon them from their time to your time." Said the Hero of the Minish, holding a green, glowing orb. "Thank you." said Link. Suddenly, the orb was sucked up into Link's Triforce Badge, the one that had helped him earlier. "Please, use it eventually." Said the Hero of the Minish. "I hope that I see you again." said Link. "I hope so too." said the Hero of the Minish. Link played the song that had brought him to this time period and once again, the trio disappeared.
Chapter 14: A Hero's Guide to not Revealing a Secret.A red capped fellow walked along a brick road in a forest, who was then followed by a purple capped fellow, then a blue capped and green capped duo came up next. "Hey Blue, try to solve this problem. Said the red capped fellow. (all of them will be referred to by their colors. Suddenly, a blue light appeared and out came Link, Zelda, and Spirit. "Who are they?" asked Spirit. "I might have a clue." said Zelda. "So, they are clearly Link's ancestors, but there are four of them. I remember Link saying that his father had four clones of himself. So, that means..." said Zelda. "That...that is my father!" said Link in excitedness. "I never knew him, so now I can finally know who he really was." "Are you sure that that is a good idea? I mean, he is just a kid now. I he found out that he would have a son in the future, it may mentally break him." said Spirit. "I think that I should give it a try." said Link. "But I am still very nervous." He began to, reluctantly, walk towards the quartet of colors, and began to speak. "Um...hello. I am...well...it is hard to explain." said Link. "My friend will explain this all." Spirit flew over and began to explain to Green, Red, Blue, and Purple, the whole story. About an hour later, he had finished. "That is too much information to take in, even more than what I think that he, over there has to say to me." said Green. "Oh, that is Link, and his friend over there is Zelda." said Spirit. "Wait, but my name is Link, and we are trying to find another person named Zelda." said Green. "Well, we are kind-of your descendents. Our Zelda is a is daughter of your's and our Link...is...well...you're...future...son." explained Spirit. "Wait...I will have a son in the future?" Asked Green. "Well, yeah. Sorry if that mentally broke you." said Zelda. "It is ok. So, what am I like in the future?" asked Green. "Why should you ask?! What am I like?" asked Red. Soon, Purple and Blue joined into the argument. "LET ME TALK TO GREEN!" yelled Link. "Sorry." said Blue. "Oh it is ok. Sometimes I just have anxiety outbreaks like that." said Link. "So, what am I like?" asked Green. "Well...you...are...kind...of...well..." said Link reluctantly. "Wait, we don't want to scar him. You know what happens to him, right?" whispered Zelda. "Well, I guess that you are right." responded Link. "So..." said Green. "Well, you will have a brown beard, you will ditch the hat, and you will tell stories about a Wind Mage named Vaati." said Link, remembering what his father was like before his imminent death. "We are off to stop Vaati right now. Based on what you said, you probably know what he is like, right?" asked Purple. "His power comes from a mixture of Light and Dark Omens, the things that you said you need to stop Cole and Malladus." said Blue. "Well, we need to stop Vaati, and you need that Light Omen. Well, would you like to come with us?" asked Red. "An adventure with your father. How can we pass that up. You can finally make up for all of that lost time after his death." said Zelda, excitingly. "Sure. Thank's. You have the sacred power of getting people excited, Zelda." said Link. "Yes, We will come." Said Link. "YES!" said Green. "I can now get to know my own future son." said Green, excitedly. Link was nervous at hearing this, knowing that he would have to tell Green about his fate, eventually.
Chapter 15: May Fate be Upon HimCole took his own ocarina out, began to play. He called this song the "Song of Double Time". It went like "Up, Up, down, down, mid, mid, repeat three times, then do the same with a higher note for up and finally, after doing it again, by up, up, high up. (Here is a link to the song if you did not understand what I just said. /ocarinatunes/zelda-majoras-mask-music-song). This was the same song that our trio had been using. "You dirty rats!" exclaimed Cole. His voice bounced out into the distance of the ruins of Old Castle Town. He =disappeared in a red blast of light. A seagull flew ahead of the ruined city and a hot-air balloon rider was scavenging for survivors of the battle. Of course, we still cannot forget about Cole. He, now in the year 5.168, just ten years from the modern day era. His enemies, Link, Zelda, and Spirit, originated from the year 5.188, 20 years from where Cole was now. He landed in a forest trail and looked around. "Rats! No sign of them!" said Cole in anger. "Wait." Cole freezed in position. He noticed Link, and...four other Links. No, this could not be possible. Unless, this was the time when Green, the Hero of Four, had defeated Vaati.
Chapter 16: Link and Blue, Time LordsLink walked nervously alongside the four colored quartet, Spirit, and Zelda. He knew that he would have to tell Green of his impending fate. Then he had realized something. "What happened to Blue, Purple and Red after their fusion." Link thought. Then he realized that, well, what if a Link of unique power took control of their power? Then he made a life changing decision. He told them all of their fates. They were in shock and nearly fainted. Green thought that he should avoid water. "I should try to stop going anywhere near water." said Green. "It would not work because it was in a tidal wave." said Link. "What shall we do?" thought Blue. Red spoke saying "I'll do it for these weak willows". Purple said "These fools will never be able to live without my sense of strategy" Green said. "How could I stop this?" "You can't!" said Link. Link should not have said that as it would cause a fight. As Green broke down as Red and Purple's tempers flared and fought, Link saw something in Blue. Some deep energy. Link saw just anger in Red and Purple. Something odd happened. Link and Blue began to glow. All the allies and Links saw was them fly towards each other in a light like a seafoam green lightness 11 solar flare type 3 (must be specific). They found themselves being shown six timelines one of the rule of Red where he had become as evil as Ganon, one where Purple had become tax greedy and tyrannical. The last one was Blue at the center of a tidal wave of work and keeping Hyrule alive until the Hero of Winds came in the Child Timeline and in the Child Era. He kept the Mask of Majora hidden from the Happy Horror (the Happy mask salesman) and in the defeated timeline he seals Ganon until the next Link saves Hyrule. and in the unified timeline he helps save people and challenges Ganon coming to Hyrule Castle. The Links looked at each other in horror and amazement. Just then they were flung through time back to where they should be. Link got hit by a rock and Blue was going to be flung into a river, but Blue had found, after seeing it in one of the visions, that he could change water and control it but not until his duties in this time were done. Blue changed his position and landed back with the group. Link too did the same. Link thought "Woah! if he can do that I must be able to." So the decision was after they finished their duties in this year, they were going to leave. But then, since time had gone on the road to paradoxes they saw something come out of a small wormhole in the sky. It was...a giant needle.
Chapter 17: It's...a Giant Needle! The needle appeared and began attacking them and using thread and spool of pink thread. It was going crazy going back and forth until link grabbed on to it. The needle shrunk to normal size then link put it in the air. "What was that?" Zelda asked. "No idea" Link responded. Then Spirit transformed and looked like Betty White with the voice of Morgan Freeman. It said "That needle is what keeps time together. It needs a Time Lord to control it. You may be Link the Time Lord we need to call you the hero of something, like every other incarnation or ancestor of you. The nickname "hero of time" would be nice but the jerk in the next section of this adventure took the title the hero of time... THAT'S IT! "The hero of clocks!" would be a good one." explained Spirit. "No!" Link responded. Morgan Betty Spirit Freeman White said "Maybe the "hero of knitting"." "This is not a knitting needle and you need two to actually knit." said Link. Morgan Betty Spirit Freeman White said "This is your last chance. How about "The Hero of Patchwork", or you will be called my first suggestion." said Spirit. "I'll be back flabebe" said Morgan Betty Spirit Freeman White. Then, Spirit jumped into a hole in a tree. Later Spirit walked out with a tee shirt that says "I love old actors". "I'm just doing some guess work, but I think that the needle will be important". Said Spirit. Then he put on some pixelated sun glasses and said "deal with it!". "Guy's stop messing around!" said Red. "We almost forgot about what our purpose is." he continued. "That is very manly." said Zelda, admiring Red. Red began to flex immediately. Link now felt a string of uncomfortable feelings. He felt like pushing Red aside, but he remembered that he had took a vow a few years back to never do things like that to anyone who did not deserve it. Cole, who was following the group the whole time (they were still in the forest from before.) was terrified. He had witnessed the needle and the revelation to Link and Blue. "Could it be?" he whispered. "Are they...Time Lords."
Chapter 18: The RevelationOur group now had two Time Lords coming with them: Link, and Blue. While they were in the wormhole where they had been showed six possible outcomes, they had also witnessed three revelations. While they were walking to the Palace of Winds, their destination, Blue had the urge to tell the rest of the group of the revelations. "While Link and I were in that wormhole, we also witnessed three revelations." Blue said, gasping for breath after holding that in so long. "What were they?" asked Purple. "Well, the first one was that Spirit would lose weight like Funkmaster Flex." said Link. "The second one was that Zelda would become queen of Hyrule along with a new, unknown king." said Blue. Link was now starting to feel jealous. "The last one was that Link would become a Time Lord Master, the most powerful of Time Lords." said Blue. "Isn't that great Link?!" asked Zelda, excitedly. "I guess so." said Link, unenthusiastically. He still felt uncomfortable after Blue had told everybody the second revelation. The king in that revelation looked almost like Red. Red had been trying to impress Zelda the whole time that they were in this time. Link had actually liked Zelda as more than a friend (you know what that means) for the entire time that they had known each other. Seeing that revelation starring Red and Zelda together left Link heartbroken. However, he told himself to not feel jealous. He tried to get his mind off of it. Link suddenly had a vision. It showed him playing a certain song on his instrument. Afterwards, he had been showed teleporting to the Palace of Winds. Link then snapped back into reality. "GUYS! GUYS! I know how to get to the Palace of Winds!" said Link, excitedly. "YOU DO!" said Purple, excitedly. "Yes! You see, I just had vision of myself playing this song and being teleported to the Palace of Winds. I think that the song was, Down, Middle, Down, Up, Middle, Down, repeat four more times, and on the last time end it with playing a lower note at the same time as the normal one. (Here is the song.)." explained Link. He began to play, and suddenly, the group was teleported away from the forest. Within a few minutes, they were flying about and getting closer to the Palace of Winds, home of Vaati the Wind Mage. They finally, in about a minute, landed on the surface of the Palace, which was floating in the sky. "Here we are." said Green. "Are you ready for Wind Mage kicking?" said Blue. "You know it!" said Red, pumped up and ready. "How do we get in? The door is barricaded." asked Green. "We climb over." said Link. "HOW?!" said Red in anger and surprise. "We could get a cannon and shoot each other up there. Said Green. "We could have only one person go in." said Blue. "We Could ask Spirit to fly us up there." said Red "NO! That would be wishing me to do something, which I can only do with my Master's Link and Zelda." responded Spirit. "We could set up a catapult." said Purple. The quartet argued and argued until Zelda began to speak. "We could form a human chain and push each other up there." suggested Zelda. "Thank you Zelda!" said Link. "You see, she is one of the few people in this group who actually make sense in their ideas!". Soon enough, Green got on top of Red, Blue got on top of Green, Purple got on top of Blue, Zelda got on top of Purple, Spirit got on top of Zelda, and Link got on top of Spirit. Link climbed up the remainder of the wall until he got to the top. The palace had no ceiling, so when Link stood up, he had to balance himself really well. "Now, let me find a way to get you guys up here." said Link as he wobbled on the top of the wall. He, after a minute or two, took his needle from the battle out. "Maybe the needle will do something to help." said Link, waving the thing around. Suddenly, the rest of the group somehow floated to where Link was. They were all having trouble balancing themselves until they jumped off of the ceiling and into the palace. "What kind of plan was that?!" said Red in anger! "A good plan." said Link in response. "Well nice going, Link Kiula!" said Red in response. "Lets just go." said Zelda. The group proceeded until they were blocked by what appeared to be an army of creatures, almost like demons. They appeared to be blocking a giant, ornate door. "Oh, I remember when father..." said Link as he was interrupted by Green, as he said "You mean me?". "Anyways, father said that...wait a minute! Father, I mean, you green, never told me about the whole "I would Come with you through time travel in the future" business." said Link. "Well, there was probably no paradox as a result of this because of me." said Spirit. 'Oh. Now, we should probably deal with these dumbos." said Link in response. The group ran up to the creatures and began attacking. Link decided to use his sword as his only weapon in this situation. Green, Red, Blue, and Purple pulled off some combo moves, together. Spirit attacked with his signature "zap", where he just, well, zaps his enemies. Zelda decided to use Link's hookshot as a weapon, as she had lost her own hookshot while in the wormhole in the year 2.179. Link noticed that the creatures just disappeared into smoke when he hit them enough times. Purple just thought that Farore probably did not want gore in Hyrule so he tried to ignore it. After literally hacking through the competition, the four-colored quartet was sent flying. The creatures had some power too. They injured the group greatly, except for Spirit, who, after zapping a majority of the demons, strutted along. He was a Spirit, who was incapable of injury, after all. Link's sword began to glow. It apparently grew ten times his size, and he noticed that this was an advantage. He remembered that his father told him about a move called the "spin attack". He put his now giant sword to a position just about at his chest. He spun around rapidly and he knocked every enemy out of the palace. "Thank you," said Red. This surprised Link. The door opened up. From behind, they saw an arena, and in the middle of the arena, there as a strange creature. This creature was Vaati. Everybody except for Spirit was terrified at the sight of this. Link got over his fear and ran towards Vaati, ready to dive his sword into his giant eye. Zelda took out her light arrows. She was able to knock Vaati back by a five feet, something that the others could not do themselves. Link drove his sword, now back to normal size, into Vaati's eye, which clearly did nothing but create a few scratches. "I assume that you are trying to get the Light and Dark Omens. Well, I can fight back." said Vaati. "Don't worry. I will take him." said Spirit. The group of 12-year-olds moved back while Spirit moved forward. Vaati let out a great blast of dark energy, while Spirit used some light energy to counter it. Vaati's blast knocked Spirit back against a wall, Spirit was not injured, but he could be killed. "Well, you lowly Spirit. Remember, where there is light, there will always be shadow." said Vaati, menacingly. "Unless that light is brighter." said Spirit in response (Ninjago reference :.). Spirit then zapped Vaati, paralyzing him. Link and Green, as well as everyone else, then dived in and went to attack his eye. Green, Red, Blue, and Purple attacked with bombs. Zelda shot a light arrow, and Link went in for a spin attack with a normal sized sword. Vaati then got sucked into Green's sword. Immediately, a glowing light appeared in the sky, and a girl floated down. Zelda remembered that her mother had done this once as a child. Zelda realized that this was her mother as a child. "Mother?" said Zelda. "What?" asked Link. "Well, this is my mother as a child." said Zelda. (her mother will now be referred to as Fate.). Fate began to speak. "Huh? You, you rescued me, Link" said Fate. She was referring to Green, though, and not our Link. "But something, seems, different this time. Before I go into that, thank you very much! We shall hold a ball in the palace in celebration of you!" said Fate. "So, I assumed that there would be four of you because of the Four Sword, but there are also those two." continued Fate. "We will explain everything later." said Blue. "Okay then. So before I fuse you four back into one, you should come to that ball I mentioned, and since those two, what are your names." asked Fate. "I am Link, but you can call me the Hero of Patchwork to avoid confusion." said Link. "And I am Zelda, your future daughter." said Zelda. "What...my..." said Fate. "We will explain everything later." said Link. "Well, Link, before we leave to go to the next time, we should go to that ball. We deserve it after our hard work." said Spirit. "Okay, then. We will attend the ball." said Link. "YAY! THANK YOU!" said Zelda, excitedly. "Wait, THE LIGHT AND DARK OMENS! WE FORGOT ABOUT THEM!" said Spirit. "Oh, the Light Omen and Dark Omen. I have it. Do you need it?" asked Fate. "Yes, we need it. We will tell you why later." responded Spirit. "Okay, then. Here it is. Vaati knew that I had it, so he took me." said Fate. She then gave Zelda the Light Omen, but the Dark Omen then disappeared. "What?" said Link. "Well, we really only need the Light Omen." said Spirit. "Well, the ball will be tonight, so we should be heading out." said Fate. Red then whispered to Purple. "This is my chance." whispered Red to Purple. "To get what I really need."
Chapter 19: Admitting is Hard Around These PartsInside of a random building in the Sea of Trees, Link and Spirit were preparing. Link was putting on a green tuxedo while Spirit created a khaki suit for himself. "Well, Spirit..." said Link. "Yes..." responded Spirit. "Why, since we defeated Cole at Skyloft, have you been so, well, nice to us?" asked Link. "Well, I may have had many masters, but you are different. I have grown fond of you and Zelda." said Spirit. "Thank you, very much." responded Link. "OH CRUD! IT IS NAYRU TIME!" said Spirit. "WE HAVE TO LEAVE NOW!". The duo rushed out of the building, out of the Sea of Trees, and towards Hyrule Castle. After a few minutes, they arrived. The door opened automatically with chains and levers. Behind the door, there was a wooden floor and lights all around. This was, still, twenty years before Link and Zelda's time, if you do not remember that they have been time-traveling. Hyrule had minor abilities with electricity. Despite Hyrule being medieval-like, they still had electric lights. The room was huge, with people everywhere. There was a Zora band (Zoras are a race in Hyrule that have great musical capabilities). "It was a simple rescue, so why is there a huge ball?" asked Link. "I dunno." said Spirit. The room had a table with food and drinks laid out. "Please, remember." said Link. "Don't worry, I'll help you." said Spirit. "Thank you, you always have been there to help." said Link. "Wait, DID WE EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO FATE!?" said Spirit, worrying. "Don't worry, Zelda did." said Link. "Okay, thanks." said Spirit. "Your welcome." responded Link. They walked in and immediately, Spirit ran over to Purple, and asked him if he dyes his tunic purple. "No, I do not." said Purple. "Darn it!" said Spirit. Red and Link went looking for Zelda, but they bumped into each other. Each colored clone wore a tuxedo of their color of tunic. "Hey, watch where you are going!" said Red. "I am sorry...can I help?" said Link. "You should be sorry." said Red. Red then walked away. "How rude." said Link. Link followed Red, until he saw Red... and Zelda. They were talking and Zelda seemed to be blushing. Link sat down on a bench by some plants by the snack bar, heartbroken. Spirit floated over, carrying tons of snacks. "Hey! I got some snacks! Lets chow down!" said Spirit. Link just sat there, looking down with his eyes closed. Spirit floated next to him. He put his arm around the depressed Link. "What is wrong?" asked Spirit. Link said nothing in response, and instead pointed to Zelda and Red. Spirit looked in the direction that Link pointed and mocked Red, facially. Red then gave an angry expression in response. Spirit continued to look at Link, realizing the problem. He had this kind of expression on his face. "Wow. Sorry about that. It must be a pretty big blow to you, isn't it?" said Spirit. "You can wish me to undo that." said Spirit. "This is just the way that things went. Besides, I need to save my two remaining wishes." said Link. "Hey, this is love. I'll make this one on the house." said Spirit. "Just, no." said Link. "Okay, then. Wait, since she is already with Red, you can admit your feelings and nothing will happen." said Spirit. "I guess so." said Link. All of a sudden, Link got up and walked towards Red and Zelda. Link was more nervous than he had ever been before. He kept thinking about the what-ifs of this. Just as he had gotten two the two dancing, he started to speak, but Red took the chance to do something to Link. Red walked over to Link and said "What are you doing here?". "Um...uh...I...uh...have something to say..." said Link, stuttering along the way. "Well, your chance to say something is gone!" said Red. Red punched Link, leaving nothing but pain in his chest, literal pain. Zelda watched this in clear anger. "Woah! Red, why did you do that?!" said Zelda. "He was ruining our moment." said Red in response. "Well, why should that moment have existed! I am done with you, Red!" raged Zelda. She helped Link up and helped him walk away, all the while looking back at Red in flaming anger. The two sat down by Spirit and smiled at each other. Link looked at Spirit and smiled. Spirit did the same. The next morning, the four colored quartet, Green, Blue, Purple, and Red gathered up together. Green's sword hovered, and the four turned into one. Green was the only one left. Green walked towards Link, Zelda, and Spirit. Fate was there as well. "Thank you, young heroes. I will never forget you!" said Fate. "I'll see you in the future as my son." said Green. "Goodbye." said Link as took out his ocarina again and played the same song ( /ocarinatunes/zelda-majoras-mask-music-song). Zelda and Link held each other's hands as they disappeared, off to another time, and off for more adventures.
Contrary to what you may believe, this is NOT the end of the story. This is just the end of this section. Please, remember that this is unfinished and that the next few chapters will be released within the next few weeks.
