Anger and Laughter

She laughed.

Oh, a very adorable laugh. I smiled. She was one of the most beautiful girls in the world. Oh how her hair moved when she danced, oh how her beautiful white teeth shone, oh how her beautiful eyes looked at me, once in awhile.

She pulled me up and said, "Dance with me." I shook my head and replied, "I'm a terrible dancer."

She shook her head also. "Well, if you don't start now. You will never know how. No rhyme intended."

We both laughed. She was one of the most lovable girls. I was very lucky.

And so we danced like we never did before. We laughed and talked at the same time.

At the end of the day, she told me something that scarred me for life.

"I'm moving," the words came out from her mouth.

I was shocked.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"I'm moving," she said, flatly.

I can't absorb the words she just said.

"Well, good bye." She walked away without any further explanation. I tried calling for her, but nothing came out from my mouth. I scowled.

It would be better not to call her. It would just hurt me more.

I walked to a different direction from her, kicking a pebble.

"Stupid life…" I muttered. We just started to get along when she had to say those un-sacred words. I frowned.

I saw a nearby bench. I walked to it, and sat.

Why does she have to leave? I thought.

I growled. I threw the blue shiny pebble to the lake.

I muttered more. I stood up and walked more. The sun was setting, it was a beautiful sight. It would have been better if she were here…

The sun radiated an orange haze above the horizon, lighting up the sky as if lit by fire, yet the haze was so crisp and clear. It was beautiful, for one thing. I smiled. It was beautiful… like her.

A tear drop escaped from my eye.

Am I crying? How wonderful…

I yelled at the sun. "WHY DID SHE HAVE TO LEAVE? WHY?"

I sat at the green grass. Why did she have to leave? I was enraged.

It would be better if I just left. I stood up and walked away. What I didn't know was I left something shiny at the ground.
