This is Dec 1 for The Calender of Awesomeness, directed by Hades Lord of the Dead

My prompt was from HLotD: BANG

Here it is!

Holmes slowly walked into the run down building, Watson close behind, as he spied the building for clues of the death of Annabella Gardelle, and Sophia Quince's death.

The murders were obviously linked, but how?

Then in the motionless room, suddenly the air became thick with fog, and BANG! The door slammed shut, pushing Watson into Holmes, and ultimately landing them on the floor.

"My dear Watson, do watch your footing, this is a rather dangerous building," Holmes said to Watson as he helped him up.

"The door slammed shut and jolted me forward into you, " Watson said, attempting to explain the situation.

"Thousand apologies Watson," Holmes said, before changing topic. " I cannot see well in this light, Watson do open the door!

"Watson moved to open the door, but in it's place all he found was a brick wall that had been plastered over. "There is no door," Watson said, hesitantly.

"What was that Watson?"

"There is no door Holmes, feel it yourself."

"This is very unexpected, follow me Watson, we have more to do!" Holmes called, as he started further into the house. Watson, quickly hurried up the stairs to catch up with Holmes.

As he reached the top of the staircase he saw a man sitting on Holmes chocking him. Without thinking, Watson leapt on him, and pried the man's fingers away from Holmes' throat.

Realising there was another man in the room, the man hastily jumped up to face the new threat, seeing Watson's gray hair, he underestimated him, and knocked him to the side, then began to fight Holmes again. But Watson wouldn't give up on his friend that easily. He jumped on the man's back and wrapped his arms around his throat. "Let go of Holmes!" he yelled as he the man's face turned red. The man slowly loosened his grip on Holmes' throat.

Freeing himself, Holmes removed the gun the man was holding, then Hopkins ran in the door. "Ahh, good to see you Hopkins, I trust you've been well?"

I know it's not really finished but I like to leave the last bit for your imagination to do the work. (not really much work to do at all)

Anyway, please review!
