'Wake up'

It was as if she had been submerged in water, finally coming up to resurfacing, letting out a loud gasp for air.

Ahsoka Tano choked, desperate to catch her breath and fill her shriveling lungs. Choking, coughing, whatever it was Ahsoka couldn't be happier than to breathe again.

The young Togruta found herself lying on her side, her body aching, her mind groggy.

Her blurry vision could only make out black and blue.

Had it gone dark? Ahsoka wondered. Had she been asleep? Ahsoka tried to think back what happened moments ago but only met with a blur. A painful blur that made her head throb a bit. When she tried to stand upright, it only led her to fall on all fours.

'Whoa!' Ahsoka thought, realizing the glowing surface underneath her.

What had been glowing underneath her was a wide, complex array of symbols and writing she had never seen before. Looking again beyond the glowing surface, Ahsoka came face-to-face with nothing. 'What happened? Where am I?' Ahsoka thought, all she saw was a black void of nothing.

"Ugh"

"Master!" a few feet from her Ahsoka saw her Jedi Master Anakin Skywalker lying the same way she did before waking up.

Crawling to his side, Ahsoka looked in worry. Anakin's face scrunched, letting out a pitiful moan. Eyes opening slowly, Anakin met with blurry vision before focusing enough for him to see his Padawan Ahsoka looking at him with worried eyes. "Snips?" responding with her nickname, Anakin grunted from a head throbbing pain ripping at his skull. 'Bantha poo, what in the universe hit me?' sitting upright, a terrible sense of nausea lurched in his stomach.

"Are you alright, Master?" Ashoka asked worryingly. How weird? Ahsoka thought, she wasn't able to sense her master so close to her before hearing him?

"Yeah, yeah, just a little dizzy" letting out a sickly groan, Anakin looked at his worrying Padawan.

"And what about you, Ahsoka?" he looked at her worryingly too. Their time together as Master and Apprentice was special to him, so of course he would be worried about her.

Ahsoka smiled lightly, "the same as you. It feels like my head is splitting" it took a lot out of her from just trying to act normal.

If Ahsoka was with him, there surely there was someone else –

The two of them heard coughing.

Anakin and Ahsoka turned to see Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi gasping for breath, upright with a hand at his chest. Waking up in a cold sweat, Obi-Wan looked as if he came out of a nightmare.

"Obi-Wan!" Anakin called, arm stretching out when he called to his former master. Holding him back was the pain that wrecked over his body.

Face red somewhat from the struggle to breathe, Obi-Wan pounded at his chest when he looked up hearing Anakin's call to him. After that small struggle, Obi-Wan raised his shaky hand acknowledging them – acting as if he was alright despite suffering for breath just a moment ago.

"It's… wonderful… to see the both of you…" wheezed Obi-Wan.

"Right" Anakin said hesitantly, watching Obi-Wan still pounding his chest still.

"It's good that all three of you are awake, I was getting worried you guys wouldn't wake up"

Obi-Wan would see his Padawan.

Anakin would see his former master's apprentice – the same blonde-haired young human who came along with Ahsoka during the battle of 'Christophsis.'

And Ahsoka, she would see her closest friend in the Jedi Order.

"Naruto" all of them said, Ahsoka more loudly from seeing him alright and well.

Naruto sat at the center of the array; legs crossed in a meditative position. Strangely, his skin was very pale with a faint trace of sweat dripping from the side of his temples.

Ahsoka would have been happier than to just walk up to him and give him a hug knowing he was okay. It still confused her somewhat at how close he was, and yet somehow, she couldn't sense him. But, looking closely, Ahsoka saw something she didn't expect.

"Master, look!" Ahsoka pointed.

The memories were vague at first. Being in this strange place was the cause – which they didn't know. That however didn't matter. Anakin and Obi-Wan saw the trio behind Naruto, they remembered what happened.

"You!" Anakin hissed angrily.

Sitting there behind the blonde Padawan was the old withered form of the old man who called himself Father, and there resting their heads on his lap were his two children: The Daughter and the Son.

Standing tall with all the strength he could manage, Anakin marched toward them – passing Naruto in his rage and sneered angrily at these people who tried to kill Obi-Wan and Ahsoka. "You have some nerve for trying to kill my friends, and now you have us locked up just because I wouldn't play your games, old man – "

"Anakin" Obi-Wan shouted, managing to get up and stop Anakin from doing anything rash. He may not have noticed, but Obi-Wan did. "Look" Obi-Wan ordered.

Of all the things they pulled, Anakin couldn't fathom why Obi-Wan didn't share his anger. Glaring at the trio, Anakin was able to see something that made his anger change into confusion.

The Daughter and Son looked pale, very pale with a web of blackened veins slowly gnawing beneath their skin. They each panted heavily, sweat dripping from their forehead with only their Father brushing their foreheads in a way a parent would. The Father didn't acknowledge the Chosen One, only looking in sadness towards his children.

When he looked up at him, Anakin saw the change in the old man's eyes. They were ominous black orbs with blue irises, instead, now they seemed no different from any normal human.

Something was wrong – not just with them but for all of them.

"They're dying" said the Father, "my children are dying" pain filled his voice – no longer distorted like before.

All that anger seemed to turn to pity, Anakin didn't know what to say to this. He didn't know how to respond.

"How?" Obi-Wan asked. Just moments ago, they were transformed into menacing beasts that carried them in their talons, and were set to kill him and Ahsoka. Now here they were weakened, left at their mercy. "What's causing this? How can they be dying?" revenge was not the Jedi way, and with them powerless now, there was nothing to fear from them, nor act.

"We have been cut off from the Force. It does not exist in this place" the Father stated solemnly, giving a frightening notion to Anakin, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka at how the Force didn't exist here.

"That's impossible, right?! There's no way"

The Force flowed in everything. Every sun, every planet, every living thing big and small – to say it didn't flow here was no different than saying it was dead.

"Oh, believe it child. If it had not been for my family being stronger Force-wielders, we would have perished instantly the moment the connection was severed" the Father affirmed his statement, before looking down sadly at his children. "I – we – have no power here"

"But that doesn't make any sense, we're still okay. How could we even end up in this place?" Anakin shook his head, none of this was making any sense to him.

That's when the Father lifted his shaking hand and pointed. Where he pointed was the blonde human known as Naruto.

"The Void – your friend is the reason. When I tasked my children to kill your friends, it was the two of you that acted – rather than the Chosen One subduing my children. Pulling my children closer to him, I responded in at an attempt to save them – having felt something not right. I acted, something I believe was his plan all along to trap us here" explained the Father.

"Naruto?" Ahsoka questioned, sounding in disbelief that he could've been able to actually stop those two.

"Is he really telling the truth, Naruto?" Obi-Wan asked, almost unsure how to even respond to something like this.

"It was the only way to stop them" Naruto answered, panting slightly just from answering them, "I knew we couldn't beat them using the Force, so I used one of my old techniques – you remember don't you Master Obi-Wan. How there was more to me than you could believe"

"Okay, but that doesn't really answer the question, where are we?" Anakin questioned, looking all around and seeing the blackened void and glowing surface of symbols and writing.

That's where Naruto pointed at the writing and symbols. "We're inside this" answering it as if it were the obvious question.

"But" Ahsoka couldn't wrap her head with what was going on, "but how are we inside this?"

"Naruto, if this is really your doing then please, you need to undo this right away. This place isn't natural, not like the planet we were on but, just unnatural"

Naruto groaned painfully.

Something about what the blonde did left the three to sudden quake, falling to their hands and knees. The nausea got stronger.

"Shit, sorry I didn't mean to slip up from that" Naruto seemed to get paler and paler.

"It seems you will not have enough strength to keep your friends alive after all, Void" the Father stated, Naruto responded with a glare.

"Keep us alive?" Anakin repeated.

"It seems all three of you haven't fully understood what this place is. We are no longer a part of the greater galaxy. This thing that your friend has cast upon us has brought into a different dimensional space where the Force does not and cannot touch. It is only through him that all of you remain alive, while my children and I possessed a greater connection to the Force is was kept us alive" the Father coughed hoarsely when he finished. The effects of not having the Force was finally getting to him like his children.

"I've been giving my chakra to each of you since we got here. I didn't know how this place would effect you guys, but I knew it would have probably cut you off from the Force – I just didn't realize it would have killed all of you"

All of them balked at Naruto's confession, all of them would have died the moment they set foot here?!

"Naruto, you need to get us out of here, now!" Obi-Wan was never to lose his patience, but this situation would not call for that now.

A pained look wracked his face, "I can't" Naruto refused.

"What do you mean you can't, you're the one that got us here!" Ahsoka gasped.

"No, I mean I can't because of them. If I tried to undo the Sealing Technique, then they'd have enough time to get back up again – and then we'd have to deal with all three of them like before"

"Naruto, I understand you are upset with them about before, but this isn't just about them. If we remain here, we will die eventually"

"I have enough chakra; I can handle giving each of you enough for them to die. And once that happens, I'll be able to undo the Sealing Technique"

"Naruto, we need to get out of this place!" grabbing ahold of the boy's shoulder, Obi-Wan tried to make his apprentice see reason.

Naruto only let out another groan in pain, leaving the three to feel the effects of having their lifeline severed.

Ahsoka was the one to fall first.

"Ahsoka!" Anakin screamed in horror.
