Sup! Its been a while hasnt it? Sorry I've been gone. My school takes my laptop over the summer and thats really my only means of writing. Anywho, im trying to write as much as I can on my phone, but it gets really tiresome after a while. Remember to comment, and have a good day!
School. School was annoying. As the teacher drew another equation on the board, Lincoln stared deeply at the clock. It felt like hours as the minute hand ticked once more. He felt a small nudge to the back of his head as hushed laughter sounded behind him. He rolled his eyes, ignoring the repeated attempts to get something started.
The teacher, an old man in his 70's, turned back to the class and glared at the piece of paper. He looked back up at Lincoln, who's eyes widened as he realized what was coming
"Mr. Loud, is that anyway to treat my classroom?"
"B-but it wasnt me! It was-"
Lincoln turned around and pointed to where the laughter was coming from. Only to find one very confused girl, who was looking at the empty seats around her
"Huh?" Lincoln turned back, and found his teacher to be missing. Lincoln quickly stood up from his chair and looked around the room. His hair standing up on his neck as he realized that he and a handful of students in the class were still there. The rest had vanished. He could still see the shock on some of the kids faces.
It was silent as the children began to pick themselves up again. Only the freshmen in his class remained, even then, the older ones vanished.
Lincoln was the first to open the door to his class, and peak his head out into the hallways. Other classes had begun doing the same. As Lincoln walked through the halls, and stared at the dropped phones and papers of those gone, he noticed that the only freshmen remained in general.
"Lincoln!" He heard a familiar voice yell
It was Clyde. Liam too.
They both caught up with the white haired boy, and began talking about what they saw. Their teacher was there, and then they weren't.
Lincoln nodded, and looked straight ahead towards the exit. He knew he was undergoing some sort of shock right now, otherwise he would be freaking out like Clyde, or running around frantically like some of the other freshmen. He passed a boy sitting there on the floor, crying softly into his legs. Mumbling about his older sister, how she'd vanished mid hug. Lincoln wanted to help, but he didnt know how.
It wasnt until he heard cars begin to crash into one another that he decided to pick up the pace and hurry towards the stairwell. His older sister Lynn should be there after all. Most of the upperclassmen classes were upstairs, so when Lincoln rushed his way up and burst through the door covering the steps, his heart dropped to see nothing. No teachers monitoring the halls. No students walking around, no noise in general.
Clyde peeked up behind him, followed by Liam. The trio walked in silence as Lincoln opened the doors, one by one, to find them all empty. Lincolns vision faded as Liam quickly moved towards him. He felt hands on his back and his friend yelling his name
"Lincoln? Lincoln!"

Luna awoke abruptly. The last thing she remembered was taking a sick Lily to the doctors, before a flash of bright light filled her eyes. She sat up, and looked around her environment. She was on a road. Her parents and some of her siblings lay with her, as well as a massive crowd of teens and adults, some of them crying, some of them looking around, seeming dazed. A singular sign said "Welcome to Indiana".
She stood up, and turned around. A wall was the first thing she was greeted with. Impossibly high, and cutting the road. She looked around it, and found it went in both left and right. Zig zagging slightly in some areas. She looked at her parents, who were still snoozing on the ground. She took out her phone, and opened it up. After typing in the password, and scrolling through, she got a message from her fiance, Sam. She opened it, and found it had been spammed with messages, wondering where the girl is, if shes safe, etc.
It wasn't until she scrolled up, and clicked on a link that the full reality hit her and her groggy mind
"Impenetrable barrier covers entirety of Michigan, all people over the age of 15 have been removed somehow"
She felt her heart drop, and begin to allign with the noise of the blackhawks making their rounds in the sky around the people. Her siblings and parents were waking up. She looked at them again, and counted them. Once she was finished, she dropped her phone and screamed
