Moonlight Cat
A long time ago…a young boy approached me. He had asked me to help him find a lost lady by the name of Luna, for she had disappeared into the unknown. Being the fool I was, I had agreed to help the young boy. I went searching for hours; the town, the woods, the hidden village in the meadows found deep within the forests…but nothing was found. I had been given a lovely picture of her: smooth, long, gorgeous black hair, with beautiful brown eyes, in the color of a lovely amber. Her smile simply divine…I envied it. I envied it so much, I immediately turned against her…
Just as I headed home that evening…the boy had come to me in a rush, claiming the city was under attack. I had just gotten out of the woods at this point, looking at him in shock. Who would dare to harm my city? My home?
I looked at the boy, then pushed past him in a rush. I hadn't the time for talk…my city was under an attack! Running as fast as I could, I stopped at the entry to the city in shock. I looked up, finding someone I hoped to not have found. Someone I despised my whole life. I looked up at her with so much hate…so much fury…
She was the reason my family died. She was what had made them gotten killed. This was all her fault! I hate her! I hate her! I hoped she rotted in a hole, and died in hell! SHE KILLED ALL THAT I HAD AS A FAMILY! I HATE HER SO FUCKING MUCH!
As I stepped into the city, she came to realization of who I was, and grinned. She fucking grinned. Slowly, at a deadly slow pace, she had lowered herself to the ground. She had been floating in the air beforehand, her devil wings sprung out, and flapping in a calm manner. Almost relaxed. I glared at her, and spun around, running. Fleeing, as fast as I could. But she wouldn't let me. She sprung, and pinned me down…
I struggled and cried as loud as I could, but the city had already been set to disaster. Houses were caught on fire, or burnt down…and the townspeople had long ago died…
Tears sprung to my eyes, as I looked around. They also hurt from the smoke of the fires that had been caused earlier on. A deep frown soon plastered my face in sadness, and the tears kept coming. As I watched the girl walk away, shaking her head at me, I saw her amulet drop to the ground. I crawled towards it as much as I could. But my eyesight kept flickering unsurely, as though I was about to pass out from the smoke and stress. I whined, and cried as I reached out, trying to grab the amulet in agony. My muscles hurt, and I hadn't known my body had been scarred from the disaster until now.
My sight soon started to darken, and they closed slowly. I tried to make one last grab for the amulet, but was unable to reach my goal. I had passed out then and there, lying on the burning, disastrous ground, covered with ashes, and many dead, bleeding bodies of the people I had once known…the boy was nowhere to be seen again….
That same night….the picture I had of Luna had flown away, into the gusty winds~~
