Kurt and Blaine arrive at the Lima Bean; Kurt notice a crowd of people around a table, on the table sits a girl, probably in his age. He hears the people around her saying bad things like fucking fag and stuff. Suddenly one of the boys hits the girl, Kurt hurries to the table he leaves marveled Blaine behind.

"Hey, leave her alone." Kurt shouts to the boy.

"Are you talking to me?" The boy says with anger.

"Yeah, that's my girlfriend and we are appointment for a date here. So would you kindly fuck off?"

"What, that fag has a boyfriend? Uhh okay. Guys back off, we're leaving…weird…"

The group of student's leaves and Kurt sits beside the girl and waits till the people are all gone.

Than he says: "Sorry, sometimes, a little white lie is necessary. I know people like them…I'm Kurt and this", he points at Blaine, who has arrive at the table," This is my boyfriend Blaine. I heard them saying fag, are you…"

"Gay?" The girl interrupts, "Yes, I am and these people let me feel it every single day and not on a good way…"

"Kurt had been through the same thing last month. I'm really sorry. Those people are just…"

The brunette interrupts Blaine by saying: "I know, thanks for being sorry and for saving me, I really don't know what to do anymore…" She almost starts crying.

"I saw that the boy slaps you, please say it was the first time…I mean I was beaten up too, but you…you're a girl and I mean, this is just so…Shit!"

The girl looks up to Kurt "I wish I could say that, but it wasn't, I even was in the hospital once and-"

"WHAT?" Kurt shouts, "Are you kidding?"

"No, sadly I'm not."

"But you're a girl that is just unacceptable!" Blaine says.

"What is about your parents, what are they saying? Or doing?"

"Umm, they…they don't know…"

"You have to tell them."

"I, I can't…"

Why? Aren't you're out? No matter what it is, you just have to!" Kurt says.

"No, it has nothing to do with being out or stuff like that… I just can't. Sorry I can't describe it. It's difficult."

"But-"Kurt tries to continue, but Blaine interrupts him by laying a hand on his shoulder.

"Maybe you should transfer school?" Blaine suggests.

"In Lima the schools are all the same. 'Traditional', you know what I mean? "The girl answers.

"My school isn't like this, it's very open and-"

"Blaine, your school is just for boy, remember?"

"Yeah, but I just wanted to give an example." Blaine tries to defend himself.

"Uhm, so I know we just met, but…I mean my school is…there are bullies too, but you know I had changed the school because of that, but now there is this anti-bulling thing. And I have a lot of friends; they are fine with all this stuff as well. We are all in a club, they're really cool with that, I promise. There is just one thing you have to sing, kind of. I mean not really good, but it's a Glee-Club, you know?" Kurt tries to convince the girl.

"Umm, I don't know, this sounds really nice, but I-"

"Just, think about it, it's up to you…It's the William McKinley High school, I will give you the address and the telephone number. And of cause my number, just in case."

Kurt writes everything down on a napkin and gives it to the girl.

"Here you go…uhmm"

"Rachel, my name is Rachel." The girl says with a smile and takes the serviette.
