It was the thud of the blonde hitting the wall that woke Regina up from being knocked out. Cora was now using her magic to choke Emma. "Mother! Please! No! Stop this!" screamed Regina, but Cora continued to squeeze and the sound of Emma's gasps began to fade as well as the color of her face.

Regina ran between her mother and the woman she loved, "Take mine! Please! Take It!" Cora looked at her daughter and smiled, "Oh, my sweet girl. Why would I need your heart?"

Regina tried to hold her tears back because crying was never allowed with her mother, "Isn't that what you wanted? What you've always wanted? My life! You can have it!"

Cora released her magical grip from Emma's throat and began to walk towards her daughter. Regina cringed at the sound of Emma hitting the floor, but stood her ground, "It's what you want isn't it? There is no need to take Emma's. She means nothing to me. I'm the one who pushed you into the portal. I'm the one who got rid of you. I…defeated you."

Emma had finally caught her breath and tried to get herself up, "Regina..."

Cora let out a loud laugh, "You…defeat me? Never. I am too powerful for you. If you would of let me teach you, then we could have been great together. We could have had the people's hearts in our hands. And you threw it all away!"

"You're right mother. I did throw it all away. I never wanted magic. I never wanted to be queen. That was your dream. Your life. You are the monster I never wanted to become."

"Cora! No!" But before Emma could get to her feet, Cora's hand was in Regina's chest.

Cora gritted her teeth, "You think I'm a monster?"

Emma was now running towards the mother and daughter.

Regina smiled at Cora, "Yes."

And with that, Cora smiled and ripped the heart out of her only child. "You were a waste of a daughter, Regina Mills. You could have been great!"

Regina fell to her knees and began to fall back, but Emma caught Regina in her arms. "No. No. No. No. Regina. No…"

Regina looked up at the blonde and smiled, "Miss Swan, This is highly inappropriate…"

Emma's eyes filled with tears as she looked up at Cora, "Please! Put her heart back! Please…."

Cora knelt down and looked at Emma and then Regina, "You are nothing to me." The sound of Cora's hand squeezing Regina's heart was nothing compared to the screams that came out of Regina. But before her heart was finally crushed into her mother's hand, Regina looked at her Miss Swan and whispered, "Take care of our son, Emma."

Cora gave Regina's heart one final squeeze and the once beating red heart turned to dust.

"No! No…Regina!"

Cora stood up and grabbed Emma's hand, "Here you are, Emma. What's left of it." She dumped the dust of Regina's heart into Emma's shaking left hand. Cora wiped her hands together to get rid of the remaining dust between her fingers. Emma sat there in shock and slowly closed her hand around what was left of the heart she loved.

The sound of an angry crowd was faint, but coming closer. It was no doubt, Emma's mother and father was with the rest of town to come and get Cora.

Emma poured the dust into her right hand and slowly raised her head to look at Cora, "You…I will destroy you, Cora. I will destroy you, if it's the last thing I do." Cora laughed, but before she could respond the crowd burst through the doors and Cora disappeared.

Charming and Snow were the first through the doors. They saw their daughter in the middle of the room, bloody and bruised holding Regina.

Snow walked closer to her daughter, "Emma…" But Emma couldn't hear anything. She was alone with her queen. She stared at Regina's lifeless body, fixed the collar of Regina's white buttoned down shirt and pulled her jacket in. She removed the hair from Regina's face and pushed it behind her ear and began to to cry. Emma held Regina's body close to hers and whispered, "You are something to me….You are something to me….You were always something to me…"
