"Take Care"

InoKiba Drab let.

"K-kiba?" I squeaked- a very un-Ino-thing to do- as I saw him through my blurry sight. I shifted myself to face him.

"Ino…"he breathed. His voice was faint, just like any other morning.

"I love you," I whispered. He looked majestic, even at mornings.

"I love you, too, Ino-hime. Are you doing well?" He gazed at me with worried eyes. He was also on his side, facing me.

Why did he ask that? I was feeling great! Just because he was there. I craved for every touch we had and cherished it.

Kiba chuckled. "I'm sorry to ruin the moment. Now, remove that scowl of yours."

I erased the frown that I didn't know was secretly building itself. I replaced it with a smile. I reached for his red marks, my favorite places to trace.

Kiba looked alarmed with my hand, but I still continued to inch my hand towards his mark. He stared at me, smiled and mumbled "Take care,"

When I reached his face, he slowly disappeared from my sight, like sand blown away by the wind.

My eyes were suddenly filled with tears. A hallucination or perhaps a dream or maybe even a ghost. Water started spilling from my eyes as I sob and shake uncontrollably. I remembered the cruel event. I felt the bitter reality tear me to pieces. I was all alone in this wide bed, this broad space feeling empty without his presence. I cried to no stop, repeating the words in my head.

Kiba is already dead. Accept it.

Kiba is already dead. Accept it.

Kiba is already dead. Accept…

Kiba is already…

Kiba is…

Kiba…
