It was so quiet and that was a rare occasion, and when he was lucky enough to experience it, Red's mood would always be lighter, more gentle. Purple lay next to him, nude and completely exposed. But he held no shame. He never did.
Red loved that about him, they matched up perfectly. They both considered themselves perfect and how could anyone say that they didn't belong together?
Lying in each other's arms, soft green skin, the same tint, brushing. The cool air of the foreign planet kept them from raising their temperatures too high. Red had already conquered his planet. It was all too easy and he was almost offended that Tallest Miyuki hadn't given him more of a challenge. Just look how tall he was, he deserved it!
Well, he was with his Purple now and they were going to conquer the planet the violet-eyed Irken was assigned to and take a few days off. What they would do during that time, he didn't know but…
"You look angry." Purple glared and flicked his forehead. "Stop thinking, it's bad for you."
Red sighed and pulled the other Irken close. "I'm not. Just trying to figure out our future."
"Figure out our future? Our future?" Purple nudged his chest. "You always assume we're just going to stay together. You came here as if I needed you! I could have this planet at my feet in a matter of days... You've just been a distraction." He perked his antennae and flipped around, facing away from Red.
The other molded himself against Purple and wrapped his serpentine tongue around one of Purple's antennae, speaking through it, "I'd like to see you fare without me." Red gently run his hand over his partner's thigh, resting it on his hip.
The other purred at the feeling, reaching back to stroke Red's antennae, wiggling his waist a bit. "I would be fine…" He turned to face him again, closing his eyes and brushing their faces together. "Just not happy."
"Fair enough." It was an answer that worked for them both. They both knew that they could never split up, even if this level of dedication to anyone but the Tallest was illegal. It didn't matter. No one mattered but them and kisses made up for any risk that they took.
