It was all perfect for Vector the Crocodile as he sat in Vanilla house on a Christmas night. He watches as Vanilla opens her gifts; Tonight would be the night he pops the question. Looking over at Espio, he was meditating in the corner by the Christmas tree; he was the silent type. He did talk but not much since he was bound to his Ninja ways.
Vector then looks over at Charmy who was playing with Cheese. A chao that belong to Cream and Vanilla; he was polite just like Cream. Probably because Cream personality got to the little Chao; or it was rubbing off on him, he didn't know.
The Crocodile finally looks at Cream who was sitting next to her mother. A nice father Vector would be to her, if he got the right answer. Well, there was no use in waiting around much longer; it was time. What would the answer be? It was time to conquer this event.
As he got up from the chair he was sitting in. The entire room became silent, Espio open one eye as Vector walk over to Vanilla with something in his hand. Charmy and Cheese looked over as the Crocodile got on one knee, they knew what was going to happen. Cream eyes widen as Vector held out a small box with a ring inside.
"Vanilla, will you marry me" announce Vector.
Vanilla nodded her head quickly as tears pour down her face. Vector sigh in relief as he put the ring on her finger and gave her a hug. She returns it while crying tears of joy; happy that she was going to marry Vector.
"Way to go Vector" Charmy gave a slap on the back.
"Thanks Charmy, this is just like a dream come true"
"Do want me to pinch you, just in case"
"Go ahead, for I am so not Dreaming" he said proudly as Charmy pinch his cheek.
Vector snaps his eyes open to see he was in a dark; quickly sitting up, he took a moment to realize he was back in his bedroom. He couldn't believe it, what had happen been all just a dream. This couldn't be happening, he was dreaming the entire time.
"AAARRRGGGHHH" he screams out while putting his face into the pillow and starts sobbing away.
Meanwhile
Charmy and Espio were out in the hallway listen to Vector cry.
"What's biting him?" Charmy ask.
"I don't know…but I rather not find out, at least he won't be talking in his sleep for the rest of the night" Espio replies as he rubs his left eye.
"Agree"
"Well, lets get back to bed before Vector sees us" Espio told Charmy as he heads back to his room.
"Righty-o, Espio"
The two detectives went back to there rooms to get some sleep. Whatever Vector was crying about, they didn't want to be involved with it.
A little short but funny, it was on my mind for awhile.
