Sometimes he wonders.
He knew he was to be a Ten no Ryu ever since he was a small child - he only now realized how hard it would be.
He admires her strength, yes- it's strength that he doesn't have.
But he does! What he doesn't know is that the strength needs to be cultivated, nutured; she's willing to show him how.
She offers - he takes it the wrong way, and starts to stammer and blush.
He can't see the sparkling pain in her eyes, taking it for slight mirth.
Yet he wonders.
He promised to cry for her when - if! If! - she dies.
It is only now that he realizes that it was not a lie.
She has stirred something inside him - a small, green dragon writhing inside of him.
Little does he know that he is not alone.
She feels it too - her red, fiery dragon is bigger, stronger - and less likely to dies.
She knows what it is.
It is only a matter of time before he does.
And she waits patiently for that time.

Why can't they be more open, like he is?
He wants to yell at them, scream at them to profess their feelings - but it wouldn't work.
Karen-san definately would. That's the type of woman that she is. He admires her for that.
But Aoki-san...
He's a lost cause. He feels not only admiration for the aforementioned Kasumi Karen, but also pity. She has fallen in love with a married man.
But he won't stop in trying to get them together! Aoki might have a family, yes - but...but...
...It is impossible. Aoki-san is too caring, too loyal to hurt his family like that, no matter how much he cares for Karen-san...
He sighs, and goes off to find his 'nee-chan.
