"Hey Hinata!!" Naruto yelled across the training field. Hinata had just gone out to train and didn't expect Naruto be here. She blushed as he ran up to her.
"h-hello n-naruto-kun" Hinata said nervously.
"You come here to train too?" Naruto asked grinning. Hinata nodded shyly.
"But i-if i-i'm b-bothering y-you i-I'll just go" Hinata said turning to leave but Naruto caught her shoulder.
"What are you talking about? It'll be less lonelier if someone sparred with me" Naruto said grinning.
"y-you w-want m-me to s-spar with y-you?" Hinata asked shocked.
"Yeah why not?" Naruto asked confused.
"w-well I'm n-not a v-very good n-ninja" Hinata looking at the floor to avoid Naruto's eyes.
"Are you ok Hinata?! The last time you fought you liked really strong and brave to me!" Naruto said fiercely. "If a family or friend had done those things I wouldn't be able to smile after it and no way could I face them, but you did, even when you where exhausted you didn't give up! And you gave me strength to face Neji too" Naruto said trying to comfort her.
"r-really?" Hinata asked looking up at Naruto shocked.
"Yup!" And I really look up to you" Naruto said smiling warmly at her. Hinata felt a gush of happiness go through out her body. Hearing Naruto say those words really made her feel more confident.
"t-thank y-you Naruto-kun" Hinata said smiling as well.
"So don't worry about it ok? How about we go train now?" Naruto asked cheerfully
"Hai!" Hinata said following him but then stopped. "n-naruto-kun?" Hinata said making Naruto turn to face her.
"Yeah?" he asked
"I l-like you a-a lot, thank y-you" Hinata said giving him a most radiant smile that it made him go red, and make his Hear skip a beat.
"W-well I like you a lot to! You're such a good friend to me!" Naruto said trying to stop himself from blushing. 'Why am I going red?! Am I sick or something?" Naruto thought starting to panic.
"ah Hinata I think I should take a rain check on or sparring session, I think I'm sick or something, I'm really sorry" Naruto said before running towards the hospital.
She sighed to herself. She had expected he would say something like that. It had taken all her courage to say those words but he still didn't get it. Hinata would have loved to hate him for it but his density was one of the aspects she loved him for.
'Next time I'll make it a little bit clearly but for now I'll be satisfied with just loving him' she thought as she went of to start her training. 'I'll do my best Naruto-kun so please let me continue giving you strength'
