Something thoughts on what if something in Hellsing was different.

Has anyone ever considered what Integra would be like if she was a pagan, or even a neo pagan? The idea runs that the hellsing Organization started out as a Christian run group as it is portrayed in the television series, but at some point, between the heads of the Hellsing family changing with each generation, that aspect was dropped. With the heads the Hellsing family delving deeper into the occult in some manner or another, their focus changed in order for them to better protect the country, regardless of how other saw their ways; the manga itself seem to play less on Integra's religious views then I once thought it would.

So long as they did their job, allot of leeway was given in what they were allowed to do, so long as they didn't let others learn too much of their practices, they were fine to do as they wised undisturbed. For this to work I could say that Integra lets Enrico Maxwell think she is Protestant, while not even being an actual Christian, if to give him less of a "good" reason to start trouble.

Could any of you see Integra as a Satanist? Does the idea of her doing rituals skyclad (Naked to any who doesn't know what skyclad means) to a dark goddess, putting curses on any who dare cross her bother you? It certainly doesn't bother me - if anything, it's fun!

How do you think this would effect her relationship with Alucard, Seras and Walter? How deeply could you seem them being involved with this? Could Hellsing be running a slowly rising militant cult? Hard to ignore a story with that kind of think going for it, as far as giving you interesting questions to work with.

One idea is to have Seras after becoming a vampire, get slowly directed in the deeper secrets of Hellsing, as she becomes a more trusted member of the Organization. How would you want her to react to these happenings?

I look forward to your replies.
