"Wow, what an awful experiment that was, Joel, let me tell ya," Crow said walking into the bridge.
"Yeah, Murder on Flight 502 was probably the worst career for Farrah Fawcett" Tom Servo chimed in.
"But she did get a good roll in Charlie's Angels and-" Crow was suddenly interrupted by a thundering shake that caused the lights to flicker.
"What's wrong with the lights?" Joel said out loud.
A red light started flashing thought the Bridge and a blaring siren deafen the crew's ears. Joel and his robot friends were thrown on the ground by some sort of force. Magic Voice then began shouting on the intercom.
"SOL hit by meteor," she blared "Go to cen-"
Her voice was instantly shut up by a crackle on the intercom, and Magic Voice was no more.
Cambot went out the safety hatch and saw the theater and a quarter of the hallway torn off. Cambot presented this through the main SOL monitor, showing his friends what happened to the satellite.
"Oh my God", whispered Joel.
Cambot's footage then became blurry and within a second the screen was a white noise snowstorm.
"Is Cambot dead?" asked Tom clutching on to his arm.
"No! No!" Joel said covering his face with his hands "his signal must be blurred with other.. signals"
Crow saw the Earth spinning around like a ferris wheel, clutching hard to Joel.
"I don't wan't to die," whispered Crow into Joel's red sleeve "I don't wan't to die"
"Don't say that!" yelled Joel "I can try to fix this!"
Joel pulled out the emergency radio and pressed hard on the red button and put it up to his lips. "Mayday, Mayday, this is the Satellite of Love to Gizmonic Institute," Joel yelled into the mouthpiece while holding onto the contol board "we have a 10-120 situation"
But nothing but white noise was all that Joel could hear. He began to feel lightheaded, and the noise around him and the flashing red lights became nonexistent.
"The contact antennae was on the theater's side" he whispered to himself.
"Joel? Joel!" voices said to him. Nothing really came to him.
"Joel please wake up we need you right now" said someone familiar
"Where's Gypsy?" asked Joel tiredly.
Then, the robots disappeared. The control board disappeared, the walls disappeared, the monitor disappeared, and even space itself disappeared.
Joel died before he touched the ground of Earth. Cambot was hit by the Satellite of Love and was sent flying into space, broken. Gypsy was in the theater the moment the meteor hit and she too was shattered by the meteor. Tom Servo was later found in Death Valley with only his charred carcass and missing his head. Crow shared the same fate as Servo, but he was never found.
The Satellite of Love was found in pieces across Mexico, but never enough to put it back together.
