A/N: Hello Lovely Readers! And welcome to my new story! I know I'm in the middle of my other one but rest assured that one will be updated soon! This story is based on a movie I watched which sprung an idea so I just had to get this out here. Also, this fandom has a serious lack of KyoyaXRenge fics. And as absurd as it is, this is one of my favorite pairings...I don't know why it just is. So give it a chance and I'm sure you will get hooked on this fic. On a side note other characters like Haruhi will appear in this fic! Enjoy!

"What are you saying? That's absurd!"

"It is not absurd, might I remind you of your ridiculous idea?"

"You two have no right to speak! Sit and be quiet!"

The loud voices rang through the room. All around there was utter chaos; it was shameful the way a group of grown men were fighting over the future of a company. Nevertheless Kyoya Ootori sat silently in his chair gazing into the distance. He could still hear the slow beeping still ringing in his ears. The beat that sounded like a death march counting the last heartbeats. He could remember each face, every fake tear and all the empty words. He watched as they lowered the casket into ground and covered it with rich soil. Never before did the smallest Ootori ever feel so small. With every shovel of dirt he felt like screaming: "No don't! Please don't! He's my father! The company needs him… I need him!"

This was all the dark haired boy could hear, it was the only thought plaguing his mind. He couldn't let go, he just couldn't. Yoshido Ootori was his son's idol, the very image that the boy wanted to be himself. Years Kyoya worked to impress his father, to gain his approval but it was all in vain, because now he didn't have a father. And that is why his brothers and the board of directors were fighting over what would happen to the company. Yoshido had left behind a will but had not yet decided on an heir; naturally, the company was handed over to his eldest son, whom obviously wasn't doing a good job at handling the directors and their greedy hands.

Fyummi carefully watched her baby brother. She too, sat silently. Neither her brothers nor the directors would let her speak: she just didn't get that kind of respect. Besides she was married now, no one considered her to be a part of the Ootori family- except for Kyoya; who was still lost in his thoughts.

The young orphan stood up and slowly made his way out of the board room…and none of the other men noticed...

Kyoya removed his glasses and splashed some cold water on his face. He began staring himself down in the mirror when a familiar figure walked into the bathroom.

"Are you alright mon ami?" the young blond boy asked his best friend sadly.

Kyoya gave a heavy sigh, "No."

The French boy smiled, "That's that attitude. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery!" he exclaimed.

Kyoya smiled sadly and walked up to his best friend.

"I'm leaving Tamaki," he said in a calm firm voice.

"Please Kyoya don't leave, we can get through this, together." Tamaki said taking Kyoya's hands in his own.

"No Tamaki, I need some time alone…to think things through."

"But-"

Kyoya shook his head, "Will you do something for me?"

"Ques qu se?"

"Take care of Fyummi while I'm gone. She needs someone too, no one loved father more than she."

Tamaki nodded, "I'll handle things here… until you're ready."

Kyoya gave a small smile of thanks and placed something into Tamaki's hands. Curiously, the blond looked at down: it was Kyoya's cell phone and keys.

The blond swiftly turned around, "Kyoya-?" but the youngest Ootori had already left the building.

Aimlessly walking through the ruthless crowds of Japan, Kyoya made his way to a train station. He watched as the people boarded the train and followed suit. He had nothing to lose anyway.

A young man was standing by the open train door, loading someone's luggage as the train was leaving the station. Another young boy was running at top speed handing the luggage to his twin brother.

"How much more stuff is there?" Hikaru asked as he threw a bag to the side.

"Almost done," Kaoru, his twin brother huffed, "Lady how much more stuff do you have?"

"Just a few more things. Now hurry up the train is leaving!" A voice rang from behind Kaoru.

The twins loaded the last bag into the rusty old train. Kaoru jumped onto the train and stretched a hand out.

"Hurry, we're about to leave the platform!"

The lady jumped and gabbed the hand while the twins heaved her on.

"My god, that was a close call! Do you know what?" she asked on one in particular, "I have never missed a train! Thank god I didn't break that record today!"

The people in the section of the train clapped lifelessly.

"One minute," Renge said turning around with a flip of her golden hair, "I'm on the train now right?"

Kaoru nodded, "Yea."

"Then why are still holding my hand? I'm not that beautiful!" she cackled as Kaoru quickly pulled away his hand embarrassed. Hikaru rolled his eyes, it was going to be another long day.

A/N: There you go: the first chapter! There was a lot more 'Drama' then I would have liked but I needed a foundation for the story. But I assure you there will be more Humor in the rest of the chapters. (Let's just hope it meets up with your expectations!) Anyway, leave a review and let me know if your still interested for another chapter!
