Hey lovelies, no updates, just fixing the auto correct mishaps. Anyhow, I'm planing on writing another one-shot with this pair, so be warned :-) Love y'all.
Stacie Conrad never got nervous about these things. Ever. It was simple as that. When she liked someone, she straight up told them, or hit on them until they asked her out. What was she nervous about this time was a total mystery to her. Yes, it was a girl she was now into, but that was nothing new to her. It wasn't like she'd never been romantically or sexually involved with another girl.
Well maybe it was because Beca Mitchel was not just your ordinary girl. Besides from being crazy hot and cute, she was also very bright and a badass DJ. Stacie knew. She'd listened to a couple of her mixes and they were great. There was no question that Beca had real talent. Stacie found herself atracted to and a little intimidated by the petite brunette, because hell, she was all that and even if she didn't like to admit it, it was true.
Right now, Stacie was having lunch with her best friend Max and was explaining her little problem to him. While he was listening to her, he kept smiling. He could see she was really into Beca and was scared that if she told her, she wouldn't feel the same way and things between them would get awkward. Stacie finished her rant and looked at him, waiting for his advice.
"I think you should just tell her." Max said.
"But what if she doesn't like me that way?" Stacie asked.
Max simply shrugged.
"You won't know until you ask her. Besides, I don't think Beca is that kind of girl that would just get awkward from something like this."
Stacie bit her lip a little.
"I'm still not sure."
Max let out a small laugh.
"Stace, we have been friends for a very long time. This certainly ain't like you. Woman up and tell her. We regret the things we didn't do rather than the ones we did."
With this piece of wisdom, he pulled out a couple of bills and put them on the table.
"Lunch is my treat." Said Max and got up. Stacie did the same. He came to her, gave her a hug and a kiss on the forehead.
"Tell her today. Gotta go. Always great seeing you."
Stacie let out a long breath.
"You're right. I'll tell her today. It was good seeing you again. Bye."
When he left, Stacie sat back down in her chair and finished her drink. Today she was gonna tell Beca Mitchel she liked her. Like her in a romantic way. Man, was this going to be an interesting day.
Stacie got to Beca's room and knocked twice. She waited for the other girl to open the door or invite her in, but nothing happened. She tried the door knob. It was open.
As soon as Stacie walked into the room, she knew why Beca didn't answer the door. She was completely in her own world working on a new mix. The corners of Stacie's mouth raised a bit. She couldn't help but stop right there in her spot, close the door and admire Beca's work. Her fingers were once on her laptop and then on her other DJing equipment (Stacie really didn't know the names for those things) and her head was bobbing to the rythm in her headphones just like her right foot was.
Stacie was thinking of a way to let Beca know about her presence, when the shorter girl suddenly put the headphones down and turned around with her chair. She was surprised to see Stacie standing there.
"Holly fuck! You scared the baby Jesus out of me, Stace."
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." She said with a little scowl on her face. "You were just so invested in your thing, I didn't know how to let you know I'm here."
Beca smiled. "It's fine dude, just don't make it a habit. Why'd you come to see me?"
Stacie sat down on Beca's bed and put her hands in her lap. She patted the spot next to her.
"Sit down, please."
Beca did as Stacie told her.
"What is it, Stacie?"
Stacie looked at Beca then at her hands again.
"There's something I need to tell you."
"Okay, I'm listening." Beca said.
There was an awkward silence for a brief moment, then Stacie said, still looking at her hands
"I like you. Like really like you. In a romantic way." Then she looked at Beca.
"i just...I needed to tell you. And I really hope this doesn't get awkward and ruin out friendship."
Beca shook her head.
"No. It's not gonna make anything weird or awkward. I..."
She looked Stacie in those beautiful dark blue eýes
"...I like you that way too."
A huge smile appeared on Stacie's face.
"You do?" She asked.
"Yeah. It's been going on for some time. So, Stacie. Would you like to be my girlfriend?"
"There is nothing I want more, Beca." She answered her question and the two girls kissed.
