Oh, she makes me feel like shit but I can't get over it,
'Cause she's everything I ask for and just a little bit more.
Everything I ask for and so much more.
Fist fights turn into sex, I wonder what comes next.
She loves to always keeps me guessing.
He just lay there for a moment. The thin fabric of his t-shirt allowing the cold 1969 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser's surface to chill his skin slightly as the tears streamed down his cheeks. What was he going to do? He couldn't go to basement and talk to the guys about what had just happened with Donna. He couldn't even say the words. He couldn't go to Donna… Not anymore. Just before feeling as though he was about to scream with frustration and pain, a name popped into Eric Foreman's mind. Lily.
Without a second's hesitation, the eighteen year old boy slid off his car and ran straight to the telephone hanging off the kitchen wall. He dialled the number he couldn't believe he still knew off my heart and listened tentatively to the dial tone.
"Hello?" a sleepy, English voice greeted his ears and instantly caused a wave of relief to flow through him.
"Lily?" his voice cracked slightly as he spoke.
"Eric? It's five o'clock in the morning here? What's the matter?" the last questioned possessed a matter of urgency and worry in her voice. She knew her friend well. They'd known each other since they were babies. He'd been the only one to keep in contact with her after she moved across the world to England at eleven years old. He was like her brother.
"Donna and I broke up." He crumbled as he spoke the words allowed for the first time. He could almost hear her as she sat up in her bed, running her hands through her long blonde hair.
"It's alright, its ok. Just tell me what happened?" she spoke calmly.
It took her no less than half an hour after her phone call with Eric to book a flight to Wisconsin but once she had, terror seemed to overtake her body. She needed to be there for Eric, she knew that. But she was going to have to see everybody again. After seven years of no contact. Kelso, Hyde, Donna… Not to mention the new people into their gang; Fez and Jackie. After a slightly inner battle, Lily knew what she had to do and she began to pack her bags.
"Thank you very much." She spoke sweetly, her deep voice seeming to echo throughout the early morning breeze of Point Place as she stepped out of the taxi, suitcase in tow. It took no less than five minutes before she was able to approach the front door, a tentative knock making her fingers tremble slightly. She knew it would be Eric who answered the door, though he would definitely not be expecting her. Eleven o'clock on a Saturday morning definitely meant that Red and Kitty would be out shopping, and she knew Laurie wasn't around at the moment.
The door slowly swung open to reveal a dishevelled looking Eric, his face a mixture of pure shock and sadness. "L-Lily, what are you doing here?" he stuttered for a moment as the blonde pulled her suitcase behind her as she walked past him into the Forman's living room. A place she had missed so much.
"You don't really think a little thing like 4,000 miles was gonna stop me from being there for my best friend, did you?" she made a light hearted joke, shrugging slightly as she watched his face turn into a massive grin before the tears began to fall from his eyes and he ran into her arms.
Just a quick first chapter to start off. A little background and setting the scene is all. Please review.
