The Fox Boy dies alone
The Lavender Iris watches
As the lower him down
Down into the ground
Her fox boy can no longer smile
The Cherry Blossom laments
Chances missed
For choosing the Traitor
Over the pure hearted Fox Boy
The Dog watches as the Shy Girl slips into sadness
For what can a Dog do,
When a Pure Fox leaves?
The 5th Shadow of the Leaf
Sheds silent tears
As her adopted brother is both scorned
And loved
The Copy Cat stares at an inscribed stone
As his sensei's son is slowly buried in dirt
He closes his eyes and weeps
He surprises everyone
And throws his book into the hole
The cold raccoon
His shell now broken
Weeps for his one-time enemy
His life-long friend
The "Avenger" watches from afar
Knowing he isn't welcome
He to cries for his fox brother
His ambition took him away
And now he is hollow
The villagers rejoice
Their burden gone
The demon has been slain
In all their ignorance
They have killed their protector's will of fire
Now the Snake,
In his treacherous style,
Attacks the village
In this, their darkest hour
No one can stop him
Not many try
The Fox Boy
Was the string
That bound them together
Such is the tale
Of Naruto Uzumaki
Pay heed dear Reader
Lament
Treat others right
Don't douse their fire
For you never know
When the Fox Boy
May come again
