Hi guys! It's me awesomest person eva! This is my first fanfic. Its a Jasper (Jason and Piper for those who don't know) fanfic, and it's based on the Bollywood movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Well, I have talked enough. ON WITH THE STORY.
Prologue
"It's a girl! It's a girl", Jason heard. He was so excited. His wife just had a baby! He ran into the hospital room and saw the most beautiful baby he had ever seen. She had his blue eyes and blonde hair. "She's beautiful", he said as he turned to his wife Reyna. She smiled weakly at him. One of the doctors came up to him and said, "I need to speak with you, please step outside." Jason stepped outside, his smile quickly fading. "What's the matter? He asked, "Is the baby safe?" "Yes the baby is fine and healthy," she replied. "But, your wife is not." I looked at her surprised. "I'm so sorry", she said, "We tried everything we could. But, your wife knew about this. She also knew how much you wanted this child." The nurse walked back into the room leaving a dumbfounded Jason.
"Reyna, Mrs. Beryl Grace is here to see you," one of the nurses informed. "Send her in", she replied. She emerged from the door with tears in her eyes. "Reyna I heard what happened! I'm so sorry!" Reyna shivered. She didn't have much time left. "I need to talk to you", she said. "I know that I am going to die soon, but I want my daughter to know who I am, and what I am like. I wrote her this letter. Give it to her on her thirteenth birthday." Beryl was on the verge of tears. "I will. I promise", she said. Reyna felt like a burden was taken of her shoulders. Beryl turned to see Jason in the doorway with a hurt expression on his face. "I will give you two some privacy", she said getting up.
"Why didn't you tell me", Jason inquired. "I'm so sorry", Reyna said. Jason felt the tears roll down his cheek. "Jason please I don't have much time left," she said. "I know you are angry, but please promise me that you will name our daughter Piper." Jason looked up in shocked, but he nodded his head. He took her hand and gripped it tightly. All of a sudden, Reyna started to breathe hard. Jason got scared and screamed for the doctors. Everyone rushed in including his mother. Reyna breathed her last and closed her eyes.
"REYNA NO!" Jason screamed as he sat up in bed, breathing hard. He remembered that he was in his room and it was only a dream. But, it had felt so real. He felt the same way he had felt thirteen years ago. "Dad, are you okay", his daughter Piper asked coming into his room.
"Yeah I'm fine"
"Are you sure"
"Yeah go get ready for school"
"Okay, Dad", she said suspiciously. With that, she walked out of his room to get ready. Jason got out of bed and began to get dressed. But, he couldn't stop thinking about his dream. He shrugged off like he did everyday and kept getting dressed. After dressing, he went down the stairs, and out the door, to get to work.
