It's been 70 years since the death of the Demon Emperor. The Empress Nunally did a fine job,
but today, she relinquishes her throne to her only daughter, Ahri. Also, Zero will not serve
Empress Ahri, who is said to be his daughter. He will retire along with Nunally to an secret
location where they will spend the rest of their days. Things at Ashford Academy are strange.
Apparently, the principal is thinking about incorporating other schools with ours. One of said
schools is the highly infamous delinquent school known as Kasem High. But still I don't really
care as long as these delinquents don't annoy me.
"Hey Kitaru. You're daydreaming again", said my best friend Charles.
"Shut up Charles", I say to him with a shrug.
My name is Kitaru Stadfield. Yes, I'm the great grandson of the great Kallen, driver of the
Garren. People still ask me that even though my great granny passed away like 2 years ago,
victim of a vicious cancer, that even though medice now cures most cancers. But still… people
ask me. I think it's because of my similarities with her. Red hair and blue eyes. Such a strange
combo. I also inherited her personality, which prevents me from making friends easily.
"Hey c'mon stay with us… The prof is coming in", whispered Charles.
Professor Jingei walked in and left the door open.
"Hello students. I should inform you that we are getting two transfer students from Brittania.
Please make them feel included", said the 50 year old with a goatee professor.
"Hello", said the purple eyed and raven haired male and the golden eyed and green haired
female in unison.
The rest of my class got up and bowed, cheering welcomes and stuff. However I was frozen
solid. I knew this two. I knew them as much as I know myself. My great grandmother told me
the stories and showed me pictures of the pair hundreds of times. There was no doubt about
it.
"My name is Lulu Lamperouge", said the male.
"And my name is C.C. . Nice to make your acquaintance", said the female.
The Demon Emperor and his partner! They are alive! But that's impossible. It can't be!
The man looks at me with piercing eyes. The woman took a bit, but eventually stared at me as
well. Then they looked at each other a nodded, both showing a grin. They walked down to the
bottom of the classroom and sat next to each other. I noticed they were holding hands.
So they were lovers… Great Granny was right…
The bell rang and everyone left the room except me and the newcomers.
I walked up to them and sat on a desk next to theirs.
"Lulu… That's an abbreviation for something right? Same as C.C.?" I asked, trying to seem
indifferent.
"No. It's our names. Although if you want to abbreviate my name you can call me L.L.", said
Lulu. C.C. smiled at his nickname.
"I see. Well I'm Kitaru Stadfield. Nice to meet you Lelouch", I said with emphasis.
They stared blankly at me for a while. Then after several minutes they started laughing.
