It was only 2 months after Annabeth and I finally escaped Tartarus and closed the Doors of Death. We were truly exhausted. Although every demigod would probably feel the same way in the situation we were expressing back then. This was different. We knew that our lives would be like hell if Gaea were to rise once again. Titans would crush us and the human civilization to pieces, while our parents, the Olympians, would be fighting their hardest against the forces of Gaea and her children. Most importantly, I'll lose my mom, my friends; Grover, Thalia, Jason, Piper, Leo, Frank, Hazel, Rachel Dare and Annabeth... All of that has been racing throughout my mind lately, and it can't stop. It's like I'm having a mental breakdown. I can't handle this anymore. I think my ADHD is finally getting to me... Then she appears. A girl with a familiar-looking figure. Her face was a blur, but I could feel that she was somehow connected to me. I noticed her silky blonde hair, shining from the sunlight. She was wearing a pink floral dress that streched her body from top to bottom. I forced myself to look at her face, but I still couldn't make it out. Her face started to appear right upon me, as I realized who it really was. It was Annabeth. But she looked very unfamiliar, I would've noticed her from the first thing. Then I realized that her eyes weren't the same, her lips were bloody red, as if her lips were bleeding... I took a closer look and seen that they really were. I looked at her neck, arms, legs, and feet. They all had scars, bruises, and thick blood surrounding her body. Her dress was black, but you could still see the blood stains crimpling the corners of her dress. This wasn't Annabeth. It couldn't be! Then there was a gleam of light that scratched my eyes. It was coming from the dagger that Luke gave to Annabeth a long while back... A fog of gray mist blew across my vision as the Annabeth reformed into Gaea. The only difference was that she was asleep, but still standing on the same spot Annabeth was standing at. She opened her white, hollow eyes, staring through my soul. My heart stopped and I coudn't breathe. "You will not lose her if you do what I say" was all she said.
