I'll Never Forgive You for Loving Me
"Thank you."
Those were Sasuke's last words to Sakura as he knocked her unconscious and gently laid her on a park bench. A thank you that he knew would haunt her, confuse her, and would leave her lost and broken.
He just left her there turning his back on both her and Konoha. Choosing the life of an avenger and leaving everything else behind. Choosing to forget all about his pathetic village and locking away his secret love for one certain girl. A girl who cried for him and who he knew would continue to cry for him.
Even now as he steps towards he's cold unforgiving future he doesn't stop to look back at her or his past. He just continues walking forward and unknown to him it is his first step to becoming the man he swore to kill. As he walks through the gates to leave his village forever, and join the group who will take him to Orchimaru he takes one last look at both his home and his past.
Sakura, please forgive my betrayal…but, I'll never forgive you for loving me.
With this last thought the Sasuke from leaf died and the new Sasuke the heartless sound Sasuke was born.
