A pinkish mist envelops the night as a swirling portal disturbs the quiet hours of Storybrooke. Out stepps three figures: one clothed entirely in white with a regal air and a silver crown upon her brow, another with a head that seemingly shrinks with every step taken away from the portal. This one looks to favor the color red, and the third figure steps through the portal with an unruly mess of orange hair with a top hat perched on his head. The three looked around in awe as they have no clue as to what had happened and where in the Aboveland are they? The three make their way to one of the buildings that they were drawn to with the words Granny's Diner hanging over the door.
Walking inside there were only two others in the establishment were behind the counter. Granny and her granddaughter Red "Ruby" Lucas. Red glances up at them first.
"Granny we have new customers." That made Granny look up and scrutinize them.
"Red get ahold of the sheriff's station and call the mayor, Emma and Regina will want to know that there are more people in town." then she turns to the three.
"Welcome to Storybrooke, may I ask where you three are from?"
"We are from Underland. My name is Tarrant Hightop, the ladies in white and red respectively are the White Queen Mirana and the Red Queen Iracebeth."
"It's nice to meet you all. I'm Widow Lucas, but call me Granny. And the girl on the phone is my granddaughter Red "Ruby" Lucas. Can I get you anything to eat? Red is calling the Mayor and sheriff of the town to let them know that we had another portal pop up. It's becoming a regular occurrence now a days."
"What is a Mayor and a Sheriff, if I may ask?" inquires Mirana.
"A mayor is like the queen or king of the town, they oversee and make sure everything is up and running. It helps that we have an actual queen in the position currently. It's an elected position though, the people of the town decide who becomes mayor. There is an annual election. A sheriff is like a knight. They make sure that the town is safe and free of crime. We have an actual knight in the position currently. And here they come now."
The bell on the door tinkles softly as the three turned and faced the three who just entered. The blonde seems shocked for a minute but schools her face. Regina scrutinizes them and Henry just looks at them excited. Then Regina steps forward.
"Hello, I'm Regina Mills current Mayor of Storybrooke. May I ask who you are and where are you from?"
They all introduce themselves. Then Emma steps forward.
"Hi, I'm Emma Swan current sheriff of Storybrooke."
Tarrant smiles wide like a certain cat before moving and hugging Emma. "It's so nice to see you again! Where have you been? Why have you not visited? We all missed you!"
"Tarrant…can't…b-breathe!"
"Oh, so very sorry." he said as he releases her. The others (except for Henry and Regina) only stare at the two in shock at the audacity of the hug and the fact that these two seem to know each other.
"How do you know Tarrant? asked Iracebeth still in shock.
"Figures ya grow up and everyone doesn't recognize ya sis!" laughs Tarrant uproariously.
"It's shocking bro! I mean I slay a Jabberwocky and steal the Chronosphere and they still don't recognize me!" This lead to the two queens to get dumbstruck looks on their faces.
"It can't be!" Mirana exclaims breathlessly.
Emma laughs. "Emma Alicia Kingsley-Swan at your service your highnesses!" she said as she gives a dramatic bow with a final giggle.
