Rei was waiting at the outside of the Uchiha house pacing back and forth. Her palid face showed utter annoyance as she waited for her crush and team mate, the amazing Sasuke Uchiha, to come out of his house. Rei's pale cheek's flushed red as she remembered the phone conversation she had with the raven haired ninja just an hour ago.
Flashback
Rei was outside training with her brother, the Hyuuga clan genious Neji. She was panting heavily as her brother and she glared at each other from across the field in the Hyuuga estate. Neither of the two of them had their Byakkugan activated and were waiting for the other one to move. Rei did the normal taijutsu stance and charged at her brother, a blue force of her gentle fist coming at him. Neji spinned lightly around his sister and he got behind her, grabbing her arm that had thrown the attack. He chuckled and let her go.
"Don't let your enemy get behind you so easily." The brown haired ninja told her. Rei nodded to him and she saw her cousin, the heir to the Hyuuga clan, Hinata Hyuuga, come towards them. The midnight blue haired girl had a tray with a tea kettle and cups on it along with the phone. Neji noticed her also and looked at Rei.
"Lets rest, shall we?" Neji told her. Rei nodded quickly and ran with her brother to the Hyuuga heiress. Hinata smiled as she handed her cousins there tea and looked at Rei handing her the phone.
"Rei, Sasuke is on the line for you." She told her. Neji looked up glaring at the phone. Ever since Neji had come back from his mission he hated the traitorous Uchiha. That was 4 years ago and Neji was still upset that his sister would be in love with the traitor of the village. Rei took the phone from Hinata and noticed the cold glare that her brother was giving her.
"Neji, be nice big brother. I don't want you and Sasuke to start fighting." She warned her brother sternly. Neji just looked away, disappointed at his younger sibling. Rei put the phone to her ear as Hinata and Neji walked away on their way to meet their teams.
"Hey Sasuke. What is it? A mission?" Rei asked him her face going an even deeper shade of pink. She wondered why she was acting like this. Sasuke only called her when they had a mission. Nothing more did the ninja ever tell Rei about which made the Hyuuga female sad.
"Hey Rei. No mission. I need to talk to you." Sasuke told her on the other line. Rei was stunned by what she heard. In denial she thought to herself.
"He's wanting to talk to me? Could he really be asking me out? No, not the famous Sasuke." She thought over and over. Sasuke didn't hear Rei speak so he did.
"Um, you there? So you coming or not?" the Uchiha asked her. Rei shook her head getting her mind back to her crush on the phone.
"Hm? Oh, yeah I'm coming. Be over there soon." Rei told him as she hung up the phone. With a big smile on her face she went into the house and hung up the phone. She ran as quick as lightning out of the house and headed to the familiar Uchiha area.
