Hey so I wrote this story for school, obviously the character names and looks were different, but I adapted it to the Twilight characters. Basically we had two pages to write a story about 'Discovery' and this is what I came up with, hope you enjoy.

Discovery
Bella and Edward were best friends. Inseparable since birth, they shared everything together, now at six years of age they were about to take on one of the biggest adventures of their young lives. School.
Slipping on a sea of cotton over is bird's nest of shaggy bronze hair, Edward , always the reasonable one, attempted to calm young Bella down.
'Bella, we'll be fine. Our mummies and daddies said we're going to make lots of new friends and have loads of fun'
The figure currently sulking in the corner fiddling mindlessly with the shiny new laces wrapped around her small feet gradually turned around and peeked through a the mahogany curtain of hair covering her delicate face.
'Promise Edward, you promise we won't ever leave each other, all the other kids will be mean and you'll leave me! Tears streaked down her rosy cheeks as her voice reached wailing level.
Sighing at his companion's theatrics, Edward placed his left hand over his heart and stared deep into Bella's brown eyes.
'I promise.'
Drowning in large clothes and being weighed down by huge back-packs, the two friends grudgingly made their way to the new land of mystery.
People played, people laughed, friends gathered, some stood alone. Edward and Bella decided to wander. Dumping their bags under a nearby tree, bronze and brown mops of hair ducked under branches and weaved through leaves. Eventually they stopped at a large bush situated at the back of the playground. Edward motioned for Bella to climb inside with him, cautiously, she followed.
'Bella, look! It's our new secret sport, ours and ours only. Wow! What an amazing discovery, you and I can come here whenever we want.'
'No one else Edward? What if you find another boy to play with and leave me?' she queried, raising her brown eyes to meet his green.
'Bells, I promise that forever and ever, you are my best friend and that this is our hideout. If anyone else is ever mean to you, come here and we'll be protected from all evil. It's your sanctuary.'
'What's a sandcurry?' Bella asked, scrunching her nose curiously.
Laughing, Edward shrugged, 'I don't know, Mummy said it.'
Silence gradually took over the giggles and the serious atmosphere that was overwhelming them previously, lifted. The two children huddled together and waited for the shrill of the school bell comforted by the fact that they had each other forever.
