Olivia Dunham will always fall in love with Peter Bishop.
Even as her memories are slipping away, replaced by another life, she knows this with absolute certainty.
She laughs into her glass and takes a final drink. The bottle in front of her is empty her as she tuckers her legs under her on the couch. Olivia's chest hurts, right where she imagines her heart beating. He'd look at her tonight the way he always did and it felt so damn right. But he was so careful, never one to get burned twice and though she wants to, she can't be angry for it.
The whole thing with her doppelganger has left her raw and broken. It had almost destroyed everything between them but Peter wouldn't let it happen then, and he won't do it now.
Her chest hurts because she misses the man she fell in love with. But he hasn't changed, it's her and there's no way to prove to him that she's the real deal. So she's forced to watch him from a distance and hope that he'll figure it out.
